The era saw significant shifts in societal attitudes and aesthetics, influenced by the rise of cinema, the flapper lifestyle, and a newfound emphasis on bold self-expression.

The Flapper Look and Bold Expression* Complexion: Pale, matte skin was highly fashionable, women often avoided natural tans, as a pale complexion symbolized elegance.

Blush (Rouge): Rouge was applied in circular patterns on the apples of the cheeks for a youthful, doll-like appearance.

Dark, Smoky Eyes: Women embraced bold, dark eyeshadows, to create a sultry, dramatic look.

Eyeliner: Kohl eyeliner was applied heavily to define the eyes, often extending slightly outward for an almond shape.

Brows: Eyebrows were thin, dark, and often penciled in a downward arch, giving a melancholic or dramatic expression.
