Today, I tried to take Mama with me to church. I was hoping we could spend some quiet time together in the chapel.

Unfortunately, she only lasted about 15 minutes before she became overwhelmed and a panic attack started. We had to leave.

This is one of the hardest parts of watching someone you love live with dementia. Things slowly change. The things you used to do together become difficult, and sometimes, impossible.

Maayo nalang nga sauna, when Mama was still able, I took her places. I brought her to different restaurants and cafés, treated her to good food, and made memories with her. I didn’t know then how precious those simple moments would become.

So if you still have your parents with you, and you have the time and capacity, take them out. Bring them somewhere nice. Eat together. Travel if you can. Make memories.

Because there may come a time when you can no longer do the things you once took for granted.

And when that time comes, may you have beautiful memories to hold on to. 🤍

Part 2: This Was NOT Your Ordinary Gym Party!

Today marks the 3rd Anniversary of Anytime Fitness SM City CDO Uptown Branch, and I’m so glad I got to be part of the celebration! 🎉💜

I’ve never attended a gym party where we literally did EVERYTHING! 😂

Games, dancing, workouts, and almost all the classes you’d normally find at the gym—all in one day because all the instructors were there! 💪🔥

We had Zumba, Sexy Chair Dance, Stepper, Bounce, and Strong… and just when we thought we were done, there was still the most important part:

FOOD. FOOD. AND MORE FOOD! 😂🍽️

Three years of sweat, strength, friendships, and good vibes—and this celebration definitely made it one to remember!

Happy 3rd Anniversary, Anytime Fitness SM City CDO Uptown! 💜🎉

Here’s to more workouts, more classes, more friendships… and yes, more food! 😂
