Representing Mindanao with pride, Engr. Christien Joy "Chin" Ipanag-Roque of the PSME Cagayan de Oro Chapter has been crowned Miss PSME 2024 during the prestigious pilot competition held at SMX Convention Center Manila as part of the PSME 72nd NatCon’s Day 0 celebration.

Amid an audience of PSME chapter presidents, judges, and distinguished delegates, Engr. Ipanag-Roque captivated everyone with her grace and elegance. Her remarkable performance earned her not only the coveted crown but also the Best in Long Gown award.

Kudos to all the candidates for an incredible showcase of talent and poise! And to the PSME Mindanao Chapters, Thank you for supporting our Miss PSME Mindanao! We look forward to witnessing the legacy Engr. Chin will bring to this title as the 1st Miss PSME!

✨The Search for Miss PSME 2024 embodies the theme of Unity & Prosperity by championing Social Development Goal #5: Gender Equality. Mechanical engineering remains a field with few women, and the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME) aims to change that.

Through initiatives like this, PSME gives a platform for empowerment and community involvement.

As part of the 72nd PSME National Convention, the coronation of Miss PSME 2024 will be more than just a competition. It is both a fundraising activity and a personality development journey for our talented lady mechanical engineers.

Engr. Christien Joy Ipanag-Roque of PSME Cagayan de Oro Chapter, representing Mindanao, is honored to be one of this year’s official candidates. If crowned on October 16, 2024 at SMX Convention Center, Manila, she will dedicate a charitable project to her chosen beneficiary.
