My familys favorite dish, my own version of GINATAANG KALABASA AND SITAW W/ ALIMASAG, This dish are composed of kalabasa and sitaw with crab cooked in coconut milk or coconut cream. Everytime I cook this crab recipe. I make sure to cook an extra cup of rice because the wonderful flavor of this dish always increases my appetite ❤

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups thick cococnut cream
Small kalabasa half cut into bite pcs
2 tali of sitaw cut
8-10pieces crabs, wash and cleaned
1 medium onion,chopped
4 cloves garlic minced
3 tbsp cookng oi
Gingerl
2 pcs green chilli pepper
salt/seasoning to taste

Procedure

1.Heat a cooking pot and pour cooking oil.Saute garlic, ginger and onion then add the alimasag stir
2 Add coconut cream, and then let boil, and then cook for 5 minutes in medium heat.
3. Add the squash (kalabasa) and cook until the squash becomes a little soft. Add the string beans, stir, and cook for 3 to 5 minutes
4.Add the green chili pepper, salt and seasoning to taste and stir cook it for 1min.
4.Turn the heat off and transfer to a serving plate.
Serve with hot steamed rice.

🍤 Garlic Shrimp & Egg Stir-Fry with Broccoli and Glass Noodles
A light, savory stir-fry made with silky glass noodles (or shirataki noodles), fluffy scrambled eggs, tender shrimp, and broccoli in a garlic-infused sauce.

🛒 Ingredients:
Main:

8–10 large shrimp, peeled & deveined

2 eggs, beaten

1–2 cups broccoli florets (lightly steamed or blanched)

1 package glass noodles (or shirataki noodles), cooked & drained

1 tbsp oil (sesame or neutral)

Salt & black pepper to taste

Garlic Sauce:

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)

1 tsp fish sauce (optional for depth)

3–4 garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp sugar or honey

1/4 cup water or broth

1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:
1. Prep Noodles & Broccoli:
Cook noodles according to package. Drain and set aside.

Lightly steam broccoli until tender-crisp and vibrant green.

2. Cook Eggs:
Heat 1/2 tbsp oil in a nonstick pan over medium heat.

Pour in beaten eggs and scramble gently until soft but set. Remove and set aside.

3. Cook Shrimp:
Add the rest of the oil to the pan. Add shrimp and sauté until just pink and opaque. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Remove and set aside.

4. Make Garlic Sauce:
In the same pan, sauté garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).

Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and broth/water.

Optional: Add cornstarch slurry and simmer 1 minute until sauce thickens slightly.

5. Combine All:
Return shrimp, eggs, broccoli, and noodles to the pan.

Toss everything gently to coat with the garlic sauce.

Finish with a few cracks of black pepper and a drizzle of sesame oil if desired.

📝 Serving Tip:
Serve hot as-is or with a wedge of lime for brightness. Perfect for lunch or a quick, healthy dinner!
