🌸 City Hall Glows Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🌸

Cagayan de Oro City Hall lit up in soft pink hues on Wednesday, October 1, joining cities nationwide in a symbolic gesture of solidarity and hope as Breast Cancer Awareness Month officially begins.

The illumination is more than just a visual spectacle—it carries a powerful message: early detection saves lives. Spearheaded by the City Gender and Development Office in partnership with the City Health Office, Inner Wheel Club of West CDO, City Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office, City Mayor’s Office, and the Philippine College of Surgeons, the initiative underscores the importance of awareness, early screening, and treatment.

For many Kagay-anons, the pink lights stand as a reminder of resilience, courage, and the shared fight against breast cancer.

✨ As the city glows pink this October, let it also shine with compassion and commitment to protecting the health of every woman.
