Arrival in South Korea (A winter dream)
From the Philippines to South Korea, it’s approximately a 4-hour flight.
We were lucky to witness snowfall during our arrival, something that felt so surreal.

Immigration was very smooth and fast.
Photos are not allowed inside the immigration area.
We secured our e-SIM through Klook for weeks of internet connection, and we also purchased a T-Money card for easier transportation payments.
Our BNB is located in Hongdae, so we took the AREX train from Incheon Airport to Hongik University Station, around 13 stops on the all-stop train, or about 50–55 minutes travel time.
For navigation, you can use Google Maps or the Naver Map app to search for locations and directions.
Make sure to wear proper winter attire, it can get really freezing.
Most BNB accommodations in Korea are self check-in, and the host usually sends instructions through email before arrival.
We stayed at Sisnbro Guesthouse, and we highly recommend it. The host is very responsive and the place is super comfortable.
The room is spacious, with heated flooring, a bidet in the bathroom, and complete amenities including laundry, kitchen, and air conditioning.
During our stay, we didn’t even need to use the air conditioner since it was already cold inside the room.
The bed was also very comfortable, perfect after a long day of exploring.
Another great thing is the easy access to convenience stores like Nice2CU, GS25, and 7-Eleven.
