BREAKING NEWS: President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. expressed willingness to face an investigation if summoned by the ICI.

A PCIJ report revealed that Marcos received P20 million in campaign donations from Rudhil Construction and Enterprises during the 2022 elections.

“Matapang ang Pangulo. Alam niya ang kaniyang ginagawa. Hindi niya ieexcuse ang sarili niya,” said Usec. Claire Castro.

WATCH: A fire broke out along Corrales Extension, near the Triangle area.

As of 10:23 AM, traffic has slowed down along Gaabucayan and Corrales Extension due to the incident. Rescue teams are already on the scene.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area to prevent heavy traffic.

In light of recent reports of stomach-related illnesses in the city, the Cagayan de Oro City Water District (COWD) assures the public that it consistently adheres to the Philippine National Standards for Drinking Water (PNSDW).

The COWD laboratory conducts daily physical and chemical analyses, microbiological tests, including turbidity, residual chlorine, and pH tests on COWD’s main sources. Recent test results have shown no signs of contamination.

Occasional instances of water turbidity are mainly due to disturbed sediments at the bottom of pipelines, usually occurring after maintenance activities. These are addressed through flushing after pipeline isolations and scheduled weekly flushing in different parts of the service area. We emphasize that our water supply undergoes proper treatment and consistently meets the standards set by the PNSDW.

We also remind customers and establishments maintaining water tanks and reservoirs to regularly clean and disinfect their water storage facilities to help ensure the safety and quality of their water reserves.

For concerns related to water quality, we encourage customers to send us a private message with their account name and contact number. This will allow us to conduct the necessary water tests and provide appropriate action. We discourage posting such concerns in public comment sections to better protect your privacy.

COWD remains committed to safeguarding the health of our consumers and providing safe, reliable drinking water to the community.

BREAKING NEWS: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has ordered the return of ₱60 billion in excess funds to PhilHealth. The amount was earlier transferred to state coffers but will now be given back to the state insurer, with savings mainly sourced from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
