SHORTENED MORNING IN-PERSON CLASS SCHEDULE
EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 42, SERIES OF 2026
The Municipal Government of Talisayan, Misamis Oriental, through the Office of the Municipal Mayor, informs the public that Executive Order No. 42, Series of 2026 shall take effect 17 August 2026.
This measure is being implemented in view of elevated heat-index conditions to protect the health and safety of learners, teachers, faculty members, and school personnel while ensuring continuity of education.
βοΈ PLEASE TAKE NOTE: THIS IS A SHORTENED MORNING SCHEDULE β NOT A WHOLE-DAY SUSPENSION.
π¦ MORNING IN-PERSON CLASSES
Regular face-to-face classes and on-site academic activities shall END NOT LATER THAN 11:30 A.M.
π« 11:30 A.M. β 5:00 P.M.
NO REGULAR IN-PERSON CLASSES shall be conducted during this precautionary period. Schools may implement appropriate alternative learning arrangements, such as asynchronous, modular, take-home, or online activities.
π COLLEGE / TERTIARY CLASSES
Tertiary educational institutions, including the Bukidnon State UniversityβTalisayan Campus, MAY CONDUCT OR RESUME IN-PERSON EVENING CLASSES AT 5:00 P.M. ONWARDS, subject to their approved academic schedules, institutional policies, and applicable CHED regulations.
π IN SIMPLE TERMS:
CLASS IN THE MORNING: Until 11:30 A.M. ONLY
11:30 A.M. β 5:00 P.M.: No regular in-person classes
COLLEGE / EVENING CLASSES: May resume at 5:00 P.M. onwards
This means classes are NOT suspended for the entire day. The shortened schedule is intended to reduce prolonged exposure during the hotter portion of the day while allowing learning activities to continue.
All schools are reminded to prioritize hydration, adequate ventilation, rest and cooling breaks, and the reduction of unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight, as well as appropriate measures for preventing heat-related illness.
