Whilst we're on our last 20 pesos, they're on their last 20 thousand.

Corruption is not just a political diseaseβ€”it is a betrayal of the people. As young leaders and voices of truth, we refuse to stay silent in the face of injustice. Capitol Correspondents stands firm: no to corruption, yes to accountability, yes to integrity. The fight begins with awareness, and awareness begins with us.

π—œπ—‘ 𝗣𝗛𝗒𝗧𝗒𝗦 | Speed and precision took center stage during the Speed Cube Contest on September 6, 2025 as part of Sci-Math Month events. The Capitol University Senior High School Department together with the Sci-Math Club held an exciting Rubik’s Cube competition where students from different strand and their sections participated to exhibit their skills in solving the intricate and brain-teasing puzzle. Quick thinking and focus stood out as students raced to solve cubes in record time. Every twist of the cube needed care, and every second counted, making it not only about being fast but also about being steady and exact. What looked simple at first quickly turned into a test of memory, patience, and control.

The event was filled with focus, determination, and a bit of friendly pressure as every participant tried to beat the clock. Each ticking second of the clock and turn of the cube showed not only talent but also composure and practice. Solving under time pressure meant they had to stay calm and think ahead, planning the next move before finishing the last one. In this way, the contest was more than just about finishing quickly. It showed the importance of practice, discipline, and persistence.

In the end, the competition gave more than just winners. It brought fun, learning, and inspiration to everyone. The players showed us that solving challenges takes both the mind and the heart. Their energy and perseverance turned the event into a memorable moment for the school.

π—œπ—‘ 𝗣𝗛𝗒𝗧𝗒𝗦 | Kasadya Theater Club recently premiered its latest production "Espesyal Kakanin ni Delia ug Feling," on September 3-5, 2025, serving audiences a truly unforgettable slice of Kagay-anon Gothic.

This witty Cebuano adaptation of the Broadway classic Arsenic and Old Lace captivated viewers with the story of two seemingly gentle sisters and the deadly secret ingredient in their beloved kakanin. The play unfolded with every laugh intertwining with a gasp and family secrets proving to be the most explosive ingredient of all.

Under the visionary direction of Mr. Tat Soriano, the talented cast brought the eccentric characters to life with their impeccable timing and depth, from the horrified Nephew Ino to the parade of unpredictable relatives. The production was praised for its relevant and modernized themes about familial bonds and immersive set design that perfectly captured a Kagay-anon home and its bold embrace of local culture leaving audiences both thrilled and thoroughly entertained.
