Unity in marriage doesn’t mean agreeing on every detail, that’s uniformity. Two people can think differently (different perspectives, opinions, even personalities) yet still be united if they share the same core values, vision, and destination.
Think of it like rowing a boat: both oars don’t move in exactly the same pattern, but they work together toward the same direction. If one rows against the other, the boat spins in circles. But when both row with the same goal in mind, the differences actually make the movement stronger.
So in marriage, couples may not think the same about every little thing but unity comes when they choose to honor, listen, compromise, and keep moving toward the same shared purpose under God.
