On October 8, 2025, Immanuel Mission International School joyfully celebrated World Teachersโ€™ Day at the schoolโ€™s covered courtโ€”a day dedicated to honoring the remarkable educators who continue to guide, inspire, and nurture young minds.

The celebration began with a prayer led by Kelyn Gicong, followed by an inspiring opening message from Academic Supervisor Maโ€™am Claudine Taray, who reminded everyone that teaching is more than a professionโ€”it is also a ministry that requires patience, compassion, and dedication.

The event was filled with fun and meaningful moments that brought smiles and laughter to the teachers and students alike. Exciting games, heartfelt performances, and a touching surprise video prepared by students from different grade levels added to the joy of the celebration. One of the highlights was the gift-giving and the soulful rendition of โ€œThanks to Youโ€ by Tyler Collins, which beautifully expressed the studentsโ€™ gratitude toward their beloved teachers.

As the celebration came to a close, the atmosphere was filled with warmth and appreciation. Students showered their teachers with flowers, cards, and tokens of loveโ€”simple yet sincere gestures that reflected deep respect and thankfulness.

Indeed, it was a day to rememberโ€”a celebration that honored not only the hard work and dedication of teachers but also their vital role in shaping lives and inspiring the next generation.

On October 1, Immanuel Mission International School held a chapel service and communion led by Reverend Sophia Laureano. She preached on the theme โ€œThe Lament of the Prophetโ€, emphasizing Godโ€™s perfection and humanityโ€™s brokenness.

โ€œGod is perfect; we are not,โ€ she reminded us. โ€œFrom the beginning of the Bible to the end, we see the holiness of God and the brokenness of man. God doesnโ€™t make mistakesโ€”we do. He is sinless, and we are sinners in need of mercy.โ€

The service was also marked by heartfelt worship and prayer, as both students and teachers united in lifting their voices to God. It concluded with a powerful communion, where everyone reflected on Christโ€™s sacrifice and the unity we share in Him.

The students also witnessed one-of-a-kind talents and tested their critical thinking.

On Day 1, September 23, 2025, the event started with Polybot, where students tested their minds by creating robots using shapes. This activity tested not just their creativity but also their teamwork.

On Day 2, September 24, 2025, the activity was Chalk Doodle Art. Students showcased their talent by drawing with chalk, and every figure they created shows their hard work and dedication.

On Day 3, September 25, 2025, the Quiz Bee began, where every contender tested their knowledge of mathematics and science. In the afternoon, the Rubikโ€™s Cube Competition followed, where contestants tested their ability to solve a cube with a time.

On Day 4, September 26, 2025, the Math-Sci Amazing Race started. Two representatives from each section joined the competition, which tested every contestantโ€™s endurance, agility, and problem-solving skills across five stations spread throughout the campus. In the afternoon, the Math-Sci Exhibit followed, where every classroom was filled with creative designs according to their assigned theme, showcasing both creativity and teamwork.

This yearโ€™s Math-Sci celebration taught us a lesson to continue what we are doing and never give up. Congratulations to all students who stood up and represented their section. This is not the end of your hard work, time, effort, dedication, and teamwork. Your achievements in this event are just the beginning of your journey.

On September 16, 2025 our school joined the District School Press Conference (DSPC), that was held at West City Central School, with the theme: "Beyond the Echo Chamber: Uniting Voice through the Power of Responsible Campus Journalism." In that competition, our students showed their talent in Feature writing, Editorial writing, Sports writing, News writing, and so much more.

On September 17, 2025, it was the awarding of the top 3 of every event. Recognizing their abilities in journalism, Kyrah Uy our representative in photo journalism had won 1st place with her great photography skills. Even though our other representatives wasn't placed, yet they have learned and decovered their talent in journalism.

The DSPC gave the students standards, showing them the quality of journalism in other schools and inspiring them to prepare even harder for next year. For the young journalists, the feeling of defeat was only temporary. It fueled their desire to improve and return stronger.

Our goal was never just to win. It was to shape them into excellent and responsible journalists for the future. Disappointment is natural, but the lessons they learned are far more valuable. Journalism isn't about one competition. We didn't win medals, but we won experience. We got to collaborate with each other, learn from other schools, and sharpen our skills.

On this blessed day, the Immanuel Mission International School community gathered in faith, love, and unity to honor the abiding presence of Christ. The chapel service served as a sacred reminder of His ultimate sacrifice and His unending love for us all. The Imishians voices were lifted in songs of praise, hearts rejoiced in celebration, and spirits bowed in prayer to the Lord who gives life and grace.

One of the highlights of the service was the heartfelt singing of the hymn Blessed Assurance. As the community sang together, the words of the hymn became a collective testimony of faith and devotion, filling the chapel with a spirit of peace, joy, and hope in Christ.

The service was further enriched by the observance of Holy Communion. Far more than a tradition, communion is a profound encounter with Christ, where He enters our hearts and nourishes our souls with His divine presence. It is a time for renewal, a reminder of His covenant, and an opportunity to deepen our relationship with Him.

This gathering was made even more meaningful as our executive administrator, Pastor Seo, received Holy Communion and delivered the Word of God with love, wisdom, and sincerity. The scripture, Jeremiah 1:19, reflected the struggles of the prophet Jeremiah, reminding us that even in trials and challenges, Godโ€™s presence remains our greatest strength. His unfailing love assures us that we are never alone.

Indeed, the chapel service was a day to be cherished. It was overflowing with blessings, faith, and grace. It reaffirmed the truth that Christ is always with us, guiding our path and embracing us with His eternal love.

On August 20, 2025 IMIS proudly celebrated the Month of Languages, supporting the theme "Paglinang sa Filipino at Katutubong Wika: Makasaysayan sa Pagkakaisa ng Bansa". Highlighting both the Filipino and English languages through a series of meaningful and enjoyable activities that combined fun, learning, and culture.

To begin the event on Day 1, students participated in โ€œLarong Pinoyโ€ โ€” classic Filipino games such as tug of war, sack race, and patintero. These activities promoted teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical wellness while allowing everyone to experience the joy of traditional play.

On Day 2, we started the day with the "Spelling Bee". Where students showcased their linguistic skills, confidence, and focus. In the afternoon, cleverness and quick thinking were tested through the Riddle Bee, an activity that sparked both excitement and laughter while sharpening critical thinking skills.

On Day 3, the last day of the event, students showcased their creativity and love for literature through the "Character Portrayal", where they brought assigned characters to life with costumes, expression, and performance. This activity allowed them to express both creativity and appreciation for language and culture.

Finally, the celebration came to an end with the "Banquet sa Nayon" โ€” a festive gathering where students and teachers shared traditional Filipino foods. This activity strengthened bonds within the school community while honoring the richness of Filipino heritage through food and fellowship.

Throughout these activities, IMIS students were reminded that language is more than words โ€” it is culture, expression, and connection. Truly, this celebration was a joyful way of embracing both our Filipino roots and our global voice.

On August 24, 2025, the DANZTRACK Competition was held at the Corpus Christi Gymnasium in Macasandig. This year marked a milestone for the Immanuel Mission International School as it was the very first time our school participated in the prestigious event. A total of twenty-two schools competed in the high school category, and we were honored to be among them.

The competition began with the production number, where five representatives from each school performed a mix of choreography provided by the judges and their own original moves. Each group was given ample time to showcase their creativity and teamwork on stage. Afterward, the participants exhibited their unique talents in dancing, impressing both the judges and the audience with their energy and passion. The event concluded with the announcement of special awardees and the winners.

Though our school did not secure a spot in the rankings this year, we celebrate this milestone with joy and gratitude. Joining DANZTRACK for the first time is already a victoryโ€”an opportunity to learn, to grow, and to shine for Godโ€™s glory. Truly, He guided our dancers every step of the way, giving them strength, courage, and passion to perform.

This is only the beginning, and we look forward with hope and excitement to the many stages and opportunities that lie ahead. IMIS has danced its way into DANZTRACK, and this is a celebration of courage, faith, and the unstoppable spirit of our students.

The program started with the opening remarks from our academic supervisorโ€”Miss Claudine Taray. She reminded us to respond accordingly in emergency and that we must act selflessly for the sake of others. Sir Philip James Parasโ€”A registered nurse, led the assembly. He taught the Grade 10-12 students in IMIS on what do first, and when to start and stop the CPR. After the lecture, the speaker demonstrated the right process of doing Cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR). Afterwards, The learners did not just gain an understanding; They also performed the right way of saving lives by applying the cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
