On July 31, a total of 123 micro-establishments participated in a Technical and Advisory Visit held at Pick and Grill Restaurant, Brgy. 23, Gingoog City, in partnership with the Local Government Unit of Gingoog City. The program also featured an open forum, where employers were given the opportunity to raise labor-related concerns and clarify compliance requirements, followed by a workshop on the TAV Checklist (Assessment) and Action Plan Formulation to assist participating establishments in identifying compliance gaps and developing practical workplace improvement measures.
The activity was facilitated by DOLE labor inspectors Marc Ian O. Clam, Sr. LEO; Emmie Lou C. Sensis, Sr. LEO; Ralph O. Labnao, LEO III; Ruel Ray S. Omahoy, LEO III; Geraldine Achumbre, LEO III; and Franco Juri Fuentes, LEO III, who provided technical assistance and practical recommendations to help employers foster safe, healthy, and productive workplaces.
Meanwhile, from July 30 to 31, DOLE-X MisOr PFO also conducted on-site Technical and Advisory Visits to 15 establishments in the municipalities of Laguindingan, Initao, Claveria, and the City of El Salvador. The visits were spearheaded by Hanna Rhea A.
