To my sons,
One day, youāll be taller than me. Youāll be strong, independent, and busy building your own life. And maybe, just maybe, youāll forget the sound of your little feet running through the house, or how many times you said āMom, watch this!ā in a single day.
But I wonāt forget.
Iāll remember the way you looked at me like I could fix anything. The way your tiny hands reached for mine without hesitation. The way you crawled into my lap, even when your legs were too long to fit.
Iāll remember the late nights, the tantrums, the noise. And Iāll remember how, even on the hardest days, Iād still choose this life with you a thousand times over.
I want you to know something, now and always: You were never a burden. You were never "too much." You were my purpose. My reason. My greatest adventure.
You made me a mother, not just in name, but in soul. You taught me how to be strong when I felt weak. How to be brave when I was scared. And how to love deeper than I ever thought possible.
One day, youāll face your own storms. Youāll question yourself. Youāll feel lost. And when you do, I hope youāll remember this: You are enough. You are worthy. You are deeply loved, not for what you do, but for who you are.
If youāre reading this, know that no matter where life takes you, no matter how far you go, youāll always be my boys. And Iāll always be in your corner, cheering you on, praying for you, and loving you with every ounce of my heart.
Always and forever, Mom
