This result came after the 1st Year (House of Aries) and 4th Year (House of Cassiopeia) forfeited their respective matches, granting the win to Ta**us and Serpense by default.

Despite the unexpected conclusion, both Ta**us and Serpense showcased remarkable teamwork and competitive spirit throughout the earlier stages of the tournament. Ta**us impressed with its disciplined formations and strategic plays, while Serpense stood out with its fast-paced offense and energetic coordination.

The brand reveal was launched through a social media post, marking the first public glimpse into the visual identity of the upcoming exhibit.

With earthy tones and imagery that reflect โ€œpag-ugmadโ€ or cultivation, the branding sets the tone for what promises to be a meaningful and grounded photo narrative. The event featured two keynote speakers: Ezel Lambatan, an advocate for youth in agriculture, and Engr. Karl Nathaniel Laquia, a decorated student leader and agricultural engineer. They shared insights on community organizing, student empowerment, and personal leadership journeys. Students actively engaged through Q&A sessions and were encouraged to pursue excellence in both academic and extracurricular fields.

The event, a staple tradition in the college, showcased the talents and school spirit of students through various competitions that sparked excitement and pride across all houses.

Among the highlights of the day was the Lipsync Competition, where the House of Ta**us, representing the second-year students, stole the spotlight with a showstopping performance by Ms. Ara Alba. Her commanding stage presence, flawless lip-syncing, and vibrant persona earned thunderous applause from the audience and secured the championship title for her house. The Cheer Chant Competition roared with energy as the House of Serpens โ€” the third-year cohort โ€” showcased unity, precision, and spirit, claiming the top spot in the crowd-favorite event.

๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š | The Northern Mindanao Philippine Association of Food Technologists (PAFT) Summit 2025, held on April 8 at Bukidnon State University in Malaybalay City, brought together budding food technologists from across the region for a day of competitions and camaraderie. The event, spearheaded by the PAFT โ€“ BUKSU, served as a platform for students to showcase their skills, with the Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan PAFT-ETA Chapter making a strong impression.

John Rey Besinga of Xavier University earned the title of 2nd Runner-Up in the competition, standing out with his poise, wit, and confidence. His achievement brought pride to the university and demonstrated the competence of XUโ€™s PAFT-ETA chapter in molding outstanding student representatives.

In an even bigger win for the delegation, Pamela Rose Uy was crowned Ms. PAFT 2025, claiming the summitโ€™s most coveted individual title. Her victory highlighted the grace, intelligence, and leadership Xavier University cultivates in its students, closing the event on a triumphant note for the PAFT-ETA chapter.

The event was a groundbreaking celebration of drag artistry, self-expression, and inclusivity, drawing an enthusiastic audience eager to witness the creativity and talent of XU students.

While Aguel did not place in the final rankings, his performance was a standout, captivating the crowd with bold stage presence, confidence, and a unique interpretation of drag.
