This month, we honour Waxiefied Sound Production — a local powerhouse rewriting how Filipino music is created, mastered, and heard.
Waxiefied Sound Production officially launched their landmark studio on November 5th 2022 in Pasig, gaining the distinction of being the first certified Dolby Atmos Home Entertainment studio in the Philippines. Led by founder and executive mastering engineer Waxie G. Joaquin, alongside acoustic and audio-engineering partners, the studio was built to meet global standards — from the monitors to even the cables.
What sets Waxiefied apart isn’t just their gear — it’s their mindset. They’ve made immersive sound a reachable reality for Filipino artists: music that doesn’t just play, but breathes, moves, lives. They’ve worked with major names like James Reid, Nadine Lustre, and many others to bring their projects up to world-class standards — locally.
