The difference between a Deed of Absolute Sale, Contract to Sell, and Deed of Conditional Sale is:
*1. Deed of Absolute Sale β This is used when full payment has been made. Ownership is fully transferred from seller to buyer.
*2. Contract to Sell β The seller promises to transfer ownership after the buyer completes all the payments. No ownership is transferred yet.
*3. Deed of Conditional Sale β Ownership is transferred, but with conditions (e.g., the buyer must complete payment or meet specific terms). If the condition is not met, the sale can be cancelled.
