Actor Zoren Legaspi got real about marriage and temptation during his guesting on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda 👀💬

In the interview, Zoren stressed the importance of both partners taking responsibility in a relationship, not just one side.

“Most of the time, pag naghihiwalay ang pamilya, it’s always a point of view ng babae, never point of view ng lalaki,” he said.

“Sabi ko, i-check niyo muna kung naaalagaan niyo rin ’yung husband niyo. Bakit tumawid,” he added.

His wife, Carmina Villarroel, who was present during the exchange, was quick to respond:

“Wait, you’re justifying. No, I beg to disagree, you are justifying.”

Zoren then explained that in the age of social media, temptation can easily find its way into marriages.

“Otherwise, ang tukso nandiyan eh, lalo na with the social media. May mga private message ’yan eh,” he said.

“My point is, kunyari hindi mo inaalagaan ’yung husband mo, eh nandiyan nga ’yung tukso, eh may PM (private message), so du’n na siya simula ng tukso, kasi may mga moments magiging marupok ang lalaki eh.”

Talk show host Boy Abunda pressed further, asking if Zoren himself had ever been vulnerable in their 24 years of marriage.

“Okay, puntahan natin. Ikaw ba’y naging marupok in the last 24 years?” Boy asked.

“Muntik na,” Zoren admitted.

When asked what stopped him from giving in, Zoren answered simply but firmly:

“Spiritual, that’s why it’s very important.”
