LET THIS GENERATION KNOW JESUS!

Di paba tayo mauuga sa mga pangyayaring ito? Manananatili paba tayong manhid sa mga nakikita natin? This Generation need the Gospel, they need Jesus in their life. We as Christians tayo dapat ay kumilos at ibahagi ang Mabuting Balita sa ating mga kaklase, kaibigan at kapamilya. Mananatili ba tayong nahihiya at papangunahan ng takot na magbahagi ng Mabuting Balita, maibahagi si Hesus sa iba?

In a very simple way na ipakita natin ang buhay natin sa iba na nakikita si Hesus sa ating mga buhay, at maganda rin na kausapin natin sila at ibahagi ang Mabuting Balita sa kanila.

I want to Challenge you kapatid kung tunay mong nararanasan si Hesus sa buhay mo, naransan mo kung paano ka nya niligtas ano pa't hindi mo ito ibabahagi sa iba, do not be ashamed of the Gospel! Ibahagi natin ito lahat nang nakakasalamuha at nakakasama natin... Ang tanong matatakot ka pa rin ba o magiging matapang kang ibahagi ang Mabuting Balita?

This week, our nation watched in shock as violence entered places that were supposed to be safe. In Tacloban, three students lost their lives and many others were injured when two fellow students opened fire inside their school. Investigations point to issues such as bullying, access to weapons, and deeper emotional struggles among young people. Meanwhile, separate stabbing incidents involving students in Cavite have also raised concerns about the growing crisis facing our youth.

But beyond the headlines, beyond the police reports, and beyond the social media debates, there is a painful question:

How many students are silently breaking before they ever become a headline?

Not every hurting student carries a gun.
Not every struggling student carries a knife.
Many carry anxiety, loneliness, rejection, broken families, addiction, confusion, and hopelessness.
Some sit in classrooms smiling while fighting battles no one knows about.

The tragedy in our campuses is not only a security issue.
It is also a discipleship issue.
It is a mission field issue.

As Christians, we cannot simply react when something terrible happens.
We must be present before it happens.

The campus is not just where students study.
It is where identities are formed.
It is where values are shaped.
It is where future leaders are being built.
And if the Church is absent from the campus, someone else will disciple the next generation.

This is a call to every Christian:
Pray for schools.
Support campus ministries.
Mentor students.
Volunteer.
Share the gospel.
Listen to the hurting.
Be present where young people are.

Because the answer to a generation drowning in darkness is not merely stronger walls.
It is stronger witnesses.

The next student who needs hope may already be sitting in a classroom today.

Let’s not wait for another tragedy to remind us that the campus is one of the greatest mission fields of our generation.

In this passage it reminds us that no matter how skilled, hardworking, or careful we are, everything is meaningless apart from the Lord’s guidance and blessing. Apart from Him, we are nothing. A house may be built with strong hands, and a city may be guarded by faithful watchmen, yet without God’s presence, all human effort becomes empty and fragile. Success is not measured only by labor, wisdom, or achievement, but by whether God is at the center of what we build.

This passage also teaches balance. God does not call us to be lazy or passive. Builders must still build, and watchmen must still stay awake. We are called to work diligently and fulfill our responsibilities, but our confidence should never rest solely on our own strength. True security, stability, and fruitfulness come from the Lord alone.

For families, leaders, workers, and servants of God, this passage is both a warning and an encouragement. It warns us not to rely on human ability alone, and it encourages us to surrender every plan, ministry, home, and dream into God’s hands. When the Lord becomes the foundation, our labor gains eternal value, our homes become places of peace, and our lives reflect His purpose and blessing.

Psalm 119:147 reflects a strong commitment to seeking God early in the day: “I rise before the dawning of the morning, and cry for help; I hope in Your word.” It emphasizes the importance of putting God first before anything else, before distractions, responsibilities, and daily worries begin to fill the mind. Rising before sunrise represents discipline, urgency, and a heart that recognizes the need for God’s presence above all else. The psalmist intentionally chose to meet with God early, showing that his strength, peace, and direction were found in Him. For him, being with God was not just a routine but a priority that prepared him for the day ahead. Before facing life’s demands and challenges, he turned to the One who could sustain and guide him, reminding us that seeking God first helps ground our hearts and minds. It also shows that when we truly long for God, prayer becomes more than a habit, it becomes a meaningful place of honesty, dependence, and trust where we lay down our burdens and hope in His word.

It also shows that prayer is honest and open. The words “cry for help” tell us that the psalmist is not acting like he is strong or can handle everything on his own. Instead, he knows he needs God and depends on Him. This teaches us that prayer is not about saying perfect words, but about honestly telling God what we need and what we are going through. When we feel confused, worried, or tired, we are still welcome to come to God early and often, trusting that He listens even when we feel weak.

Finally, it encourages us to place our true hope in God’s word. Life is full of uncertainty, and our feelings can change quickly depending on what we go through. But God’s word stays the same and can always be trusted. Let us hope in it, and let us be people who hold on to God’s promises instead of our changing emotions or temporary situations. This kind of hope gives us strength when we are struggling, peace when life feels heavy, and clear direction when we do not know what to do.

There are moments when we need to pause and be reminded of who God truly is. In the middle of our routines, worries, and distractions, it’s easy to lose sight of His greatness and treat His presence as something ordinary. Yet this passage draws our attention back to Him, calling us to respond with reverence, awe, and humility. The God we come before is not limited or distant, He is powerful, sovereign, and present, worthy of our full honor and surrender.

At the same time, this passage reveals something deeply comforting about God’s character. His power is not distant or intimidating in a way that pushes us away, but personal and filled with compassion. When He brought water out of the rock, it was not just a display of strength, but an act of care for His people. In the middle of a dry and lifeless wilderness, He made a way where there seemed to be none. This reminds us that God is able to bring provision even in the hardest and most unexpected places. There are seasons in our lives that feel just like that, dry, silent, and unchanging, but God sees every need and is able to respond in ways far beyond what we can imagine.

Often, we look at our situations and think nothing good can come out of them. We see the hardness, the delay, or the lack, and we begin to lose hope. But this passage gently reminds us that God specializes in the impossible. He can turn what is dry into something that overflows, and what is hard into something that brings life. His ways are not limited by what we see or understand. Even when we do not immediately see the answer, it does not mean He is not working.

So let this be both a reminder and an encouragement for your heart. No matter what season you are in right now, God is present and able. He has not forgotten you, and He is not limited by your situation. What feels empty can still be filled, and what seems impossible can still be transformed. Continue to trust Him, approach Him with reverence, and rest in the assurance that He is working for your good. In His perfect time, He will bring provision, renewal, and life, just as He always has.

Colossians 4:2-5
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity.

As follower of Christ here is something deeply meaningful in this call to remain devoted/rooted to prayer. It is not only about having a set time to pray, but about living a life that continually turns to God in every situation. In the middle of our daily routines, our struggles, and even our quiet moments, prayer keeps us connected to Him. It is where we find guidance, strength, and peace. To be watchful means we stay spiritually aware, not simply going through life without thought, but being sensitive to how God is moving and working around us. And in all things, we are reminded to carry a thankful heart, choosing to see His goodness even when circumstances are difficult.

This truth becomes even more powerful when we reflect on the life of Paul the Apostle. When he wrote these words, he was in prison, limited and uncertain about what would happen next. Yet his focus was not on his discomfort or his situation. Instead of asking for freedom, he asked for prayer that God would open doors for the message of Christ and that he would proclaim it clearly. Even in chains, Paul remained faithful to his calling. He saw opportunity where others might only see hardship, and he chose purpose over discouragement.

This challenges us in our own walk. It is easy to stay faithful when life is going well, when opportunities are clear, and when things are in our favor. But what about the moments when we feel stuck, overlooked, or uncertain? Paul’s example reminds us that those seasons are not wasted. God is still working, even in places that feel limiting. Sometimes, the very situation we wish to escape is the place where God wants to use us the most. A simple conversation, a kind action, or a word spoken with grace can become a door for others to see Christ through us.

We are also called to walk in wisdom, especially in how we deal with those who do not yet know Him. People notice not only what we say, but how we live. Our actions, our responses, and our attitudes speak louder than words. In every interaction, we have the opportunity to reflect Christ’s love, patience, and truth. This is why we are encouraged to make the most of every opportunity, because even the smallest moments can carry lasting impact.

Living a life of prayer, awareness, and gratitude changes how we see each day. It helps us recognize that our lives are not random, but guided by God’s purpose. Even the ordinary moments can become meaningful when they are surrendered to Him. Prayer keeps us grounded, watchfulness keeps us ready, and thankfulness keeps our hearts aligned with His will.

So be encouraged. You do not need perfect circumstances to be used by God. Right where you are, He is already at work in and through your life. Your prayers are heard, your faithfulness is seen, and your efforts are never wasted. Continue to seek Him, remain attentive to His leading, and hold on to a grateful heart. God can open doors you never expected and use your life in ways far greater than you can imagine.

Whatever we do, let us give our best and work at it wholeheartedly, remembering that our true service is not for people, but for the Lord. Whether our tasks are seen or unseen, appreciated or overlooked, God sees the heart behind every effort. When we shift our focus from pleasing people to honoring God, our work gains a deeper purpose and meaning. It becomes an act of worship, a reflection of our love and devotion to Him.

In every responsibility entrusted to us, may we remain faithful, diligent, and sincere, knowing that we are ultimately serving Christ. The world may not always recognize our efforts, and people may not always reward us fairly, but God is just and faithful. He promises an eternal inheritance, a reward that far outweighs anything this world can offer.

So be encouraged—your labor is never in vain(1 Corinthians 15:58) when it is done for the Lord. Even in moments when you feel unnoticed, unappreciated or weary, remember that God sees your faithfulness and honors your heart. Continue to serve with joy, excellence, and perseverance, for it is Christ you are serving, and in Him, your reward is sure.

TO GLORIFY HIM!

As we have received Christ as our Lord, let us continue to walk daily in Him, not only in words but in the way we live, think, and respond to every situation. To live in Him means to remain connected, to depend on Him, and to allow His truth to guide our steps. Let our lives be deeply rooted in Him, grounded in His Word and anchored in His love, so that no circumstance can easily shake our faith.

As we grow, may we be built up in Him, maturing in our walk and becoming stronger in our faith just as we have been taught. Every season, whether easy or difficult, becomes an opportunity for us to trust Him more and know Him deeper. And in all things, let our hearts overflow with thankfulness, not just for the blessings we receive, but for who He is and what He has already done for us on the cross.

Let us remain steadfast, continually abiding in Him, and living a life that reflects His goodness, His grace, and His faithfulness.

To Him be all the Glory!

Once we were separated from God, strangers to His presence and distant from His love. Because of our sinful nature, we became enemies in our minds, living in ways that were contrary to His will. We were lost, broken, and unable to restore ourselves. But through Christ and what He accomplished on the cross, everything changed. Through His sacrifice, we have been reconciled to the Father, no longer distant but brought near, not condemned but forgiven. In Him, we are now presented holy in His sight, without blemish and free from accusation, covered by His grace and righteousness.

So be encouraged your past no longer holds power over you, and your mistakes do not define who you are. In Christ, you are restored, embraced, and made new. Live in that truth and walk confidently in His steadfast and unfailing love.

To sing unto Your name is my response to all that You have done in my life. You alone are worthy of all glory and praise for the sacrifice You made on the cross. Through Your love, grace, and redemption, my life has been changed, and my heart overflows with gratitude. Every song I offer is a testimony of Your faithfulness and a declaration of Your goodness, now and forever.

Praise the Name of Jesus!
