Habang ang mga klase sa KOLEHIYO at GRADUATE SCHOOL ay maaaring mag modular/ distance learning.

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) CALABARZON issues this statement in response to the report released by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) regarding the arrest of the Officer-in-Charge of the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) in Calaca, Batangas on October 30, 2025.

Based on an incident report from CENRO Calaca, a group of individuals, who later identified themselves as operatives from government law enforcement agencies, entered the DENR-CENRO Calaca premises around 3:33 PM on October 30, 2025. The group proceeded directly to the office of the CENR Officer, where an entrapment operation was reportedly conducted, leading to the arrest of the said officer on allegations of robbery-extortion relating to the issuance of a certification on the classification of land.

The DENR CALABARZON condemns any form of corruption, misconduct, or unlawful activity involving its personnel. We are committed to ensuring that integrity and accountability remain at the core of our public service.

To this end, the DENR is fully cooperating with any ongoing investigation of the reported incident. In addition, a Regional Special Order has been issued to create an internal investigating team headed by Assistant Regional Director for Management Services, Atty. Liezl E. De Mesa, to conduct a separate investigation on the matter and ensure that all internal procedures are observed in accordance with civil service laws, rules, and regulations.

To ensure uninterrupted public service and office operations, Supervising Ecosystems Management Specialist Engr. Rosalia M. Balicanta has been designated as the In-Charge of the CENRO Calaca, Batangas, effective immediately.

The DENR CALABARZON is committed to transparency and due process, and appropriate actions will be taken based on the results of both internal and external investigations. We also reiterate our call for the public to report any suspected misconduct involving DENR personnel through our official channels so these may be promptly addressed.

Bunsod ng masamang lagay ng panahon dulot ng Bagyong ay namahagi ang Department of Social and Welfare Development (DSWD) Region IV-A katuwang ang Philippine Ports Authority at Philippine Coast Guard ng mga ready-to-eat food packs sa 71 indibidwal sa Dalahican Port sa Lucena City nitong Lunes, Nobyembre 3.

Ang mga nasabing indibidwal ay naapektuhan ng pagkansela ng mga biyahe patungong Romblon at Masbate kaya naman makakatulong ang mga ready-to-eat food packs na naglalaman ng mga pagkain sa mga ganitong pagkakataon, lalo na sa mga walang access sa lutuan.

Sa tala ng San Pablo City Social Welfare and Development Office at City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office ngayong Martes, Nobyembre 4, nagbigay na ng sapat na supply ng pagkain ang pamahalaang lungsod sa mga nag-evacuate na karamihan ay mula sa mga barangay ng San Marcos, San Bartolome at Del Remedio.

Pinaalalahanan ni Mayor Najie B. Gapangada, Jr. ang mga residente ng lungsod na huwag na munang lumabas ng bahay at manatiling naka-alerto sa nakaambang panganib.
