You stopped speaking up to avoid his rage.
You started saying “I’m fine” to survive.
You got used to being dismissed, unappreciated, ignored—
And you trained yourself to say, “It’s okay,” just to keep the peace.

You began disappearing… one piece at a time.

Every time he put himself first,
Every time he twisted the truth,
Every time he made you the problem,
You shrank a little more.

Until the woman you were became a version of yourself
just gasping for air beneath the surface.

That’s what narcissistic abuse does.
It doesn’t leave bruises—it buries you quietly.

But hear me when I say this:

No man is worth losing yourself over.
No man deserves your silence, your sacrifice, or your soul.

Ang Katigasan ng Ulo ay Di Magdudulot ng Maganda

Ang katigasan ng ulo ay isa sa mga ugaling madalas nagiging sanhi ng problema sa buhay. Kapag matigas ang ulo natin, madalas hindi tayo nakikinig sa payo ng iba. Iniisip natin na tama tayo palagi at hindi na natin kailangan ang tulong o gabay ng iba. Ngunit ang katigasan ng ulo ay hindi nagdudulot ng maganda, bagkus, nagdadala ito ng pagsisisi, sakit, at problema.

Minsan, sinasabi na ang matigas ang ulo ay matapang o matatag. Ngunit iba ang katapangan sa katigasan ng ulo. Ang tunay na matapang ay marunong makinig, marunong umamin ng pagkakamali, at handang magbago kung kinakailangan. Ang matigas ang ulo, sa kabilang banda, ay paulit-ulit sa pagkakamali dahil ayaw tumanggap ng payo o pagsaway.

Sabi nga sa Kawikaan 29:1 (ASND),
"Ang taong ayaw tumanggap ng pagsaway ay bigla na lamang mawawasak at hindi na makakabangon pa."

Ang Diyos ay nagbibigay sa atin ng mga magulang, g**o, at kaibigan upang tayo ay itama at tulungan lumago. Kung hindi tayo makikinig, sinasayang natin ang pagkakataon na ituwid ang ating landas at maging mas mabuting tao.

Kaya mahalaga na matutunan nating magpakumbaba. Hindi tayo laging tama, at hindi rin tayo laging malakas. Ang pagtanggap ng payo at pagtutuwid ay bahagi ng ating pag-unlad bilang mabuting tao. Tandaan natin: ang katigasan ng ulo ay hindi magdudulot ng maganda, pero ang pagsunod at pagpapakumbaba ay nagbubukas ng maraming pagpapala.

Never Giving Up

There are times in life when everything feels too hard. We may feel tired, discouraged, or even ready to quit. But in those moments, we must remind ourselves of the power of not giving up.

Never giving up means choosing to keep going even when things are difficult. It means believing that there is hope, even when the results are not immediate. We all face problems — whether in school, at work, in relationships, or even in our personal dreams. But those who succeed are not always the smartest or the strongest. Often, they are simply the ones who kept going.

I remember a time when I felt like giving up. I was overwhelmed with responsibilities and disappointments. But I prayed, took a deep breath, and chose to try one more time. Eventually, things got better. That experience taught me that the struggle is part of the story — and giving up too soon means we might miss the breakthrough.

Even when we fall, we can rise again. Even when we fail, we can learn. And even when the road seems long, we are never alone. As long as we don’t give up, there is always a chance for things to change.

So whatever you’re going through, don’t stop. Keep moving forward, even if it’s slow. One step at a time is still progress. And one day, you’ll look back and be thankful that you never gave up.

hoping He would unfold the map
I was desperate to see.

But instead of directions,
He gave me peace.
Because sometimes,
the real test is not in knowing
where you’re going,
but in trusting the One
who holds your hand along the way.

Maybe I don’t have to figure everything out.
Maybe resting in Him is enough for today.

There are moments in life when we seek answers with urgency, only to be met with silence.

Not all questions are meant to be answered immediately, as some truths unfold in their own time. We may wrestle with uncertainty, wondering why things happen the way they do, but often, the lessons we need come through experience, patience, and growth.

Instead of forcing answers, we must learn to trust the process, allowing wisdom to reveal itself when we are ready to understand. In the end, the most profound insights are not those we chase, but those that find us when the time is right.
