I thought I had everything figured out. I was chasing timelines, forcing doors open, and trying to control every outcome as if everything depended on me. I kept moving, afraid that slowing down would mean falling behind.

But somewhere along the way, I lost my peace.

So God gently stepped in. Not to punish me, but to realign me. He allowed moments that slowed me down, situations that humbled my heart, and pauses that made me reflect. In the stillness, I realized that His plans were never meant to compete with mine, they were meant to guide me.

Now I understand that not every delay is denial, and not every closed door is a loss. Sometimes, it is God protecting you, redirecting you, and teaching you to trust Him more than your own understanding.

If you feel like life has slowed you down lately, maybe it is not a setback. Maybe it is God reminding you that you were never meant to carry everything on your own.
