Last Monday, as we were laying our dear mother to her final resting place, I was recognized as 𝙏𝙤𝙥 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙤𝙧 𝙕𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙬𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 1𝙨𝙩 𝙌𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙛 2026 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙤𝙥 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙤𝙧 𝘽𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙬𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝.

Uh/ Hubby Mike was also recognized as 𝙏𝙤𝙥 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙕𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙬𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙤𝙥 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝘽𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙬𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙝.

This achievement, I dedicate to my dear Mama—
who always believed in me,
who reminded me to love what I do,
and to do my work with integrity, honesty, and humility—just as she did.

Mama, para sa inyo po ito. 🩵
Thank you for your love, support, and for guiding me in everything I do.

𝐇𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠… 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐰𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫—𝐇𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐧.

Just a few days ago, we remembered the cross—His sacrifice, His love, His willingness to stay.

And today, we are reminded that the story didn’t end there.

The tomb is empty.
Jesus is alive.
And because He lives, we have hope.

This season has been a little heavy for me, being in the hospital with my mom.
But in the middle of it all, I’m reminded—because of Jesus, I have the courage and strength to face each day.

Grateful for His provision.
Holding on to His promises.
And believing for healing over Mama.

What felt like the end is never the end with God.
He makes all things new.

I may not know everything this month will bring,
but I know God is already there.

And that is enough.

As we enter the second quarter,
I’m believing for growth, breakthroughs,
and God’s best in every area of our lives.

Let’s keep trusting,
keep praying,
and keep moving forward—one step at a time. 🙏

Today, during Pastor Stacy’s message, we reflected on Mark 1:40–45.

A l***r came to Jesus, begging on his knees, “If You are willing, You can make me clean.”And Jesus, moved with compassion, reached out His hand, touched him, and said, “I am willing. Be clean.”

Imagine that for a moment.

During biblical times, l***rs were not only seen as physically unclean, but also spiritually unclean. They were isolated—treated as outcasts, separated from everyone.

And yet… Jesus chose to draw near.

Maybe in some ways, we can relate.

There are moments when we distance ourselves because of our sins, our failures, or our shortcomings. We know Jesus can heal—but deep inside, we sometimes wonder…

“Lord, are You willing?”

But Jesus’ answer remains the same—because of His compassion:

“I am willing.”

His compassion meets us where we are.Not when we are perfect, but even in our brokenness.He restores. He makes us whole.

This message really resonated with me—being reminded that Jesus is always compassionate and always willing to save us.

As we enter Palm Sunday, we remember how Jesus walked into Jerusalem—knowing what was ahead of Him.

He walked with compassion.He walked with purpose.He walked for us.

The same Jesus who said “I am willing” is the same Jesus who went to the cross.

So this Holy Week, maybe we can slow down a bit.Sit with Him. Talk to Him.And be reminded that we are not alone—He is with us, and He cares for us deeply.

Yesterday was a very special day as 𝙏𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙮 𝙈𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙝𝙞𝙨 40𝙩𝙝 𝙗𝙞𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙙𝙖𝙮 — and the best part? Wala siyang kaalam-alam na may celebration siya. 😅😅😅

Organizing a surprise party is extra challenging, especially when it’s for your spouse — lalo na kami, halos lagi magkasama. But praise God for the people around us who made this possible. Thank you to our family, relatives, cousins, our small group in Tagaytay and Westgroove, our AXA family, and Mike’s friends na nag-yes sakin — maraming salamat po. Even those who sent video greetings and messages, we felt your love. 🤍

This surprise wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Chef Ryan and Sis Jhona for our overnight stay at Farmhills Garden — para mailayo ko muna si Mike sa “kawalan” 😄 charot!

To everyone who came early and helped us prepare — thank you so much. Your presence truly means a lot to us.
And to all our guests who participated and played the games with us — sobrang saya namin because of you! 🎉

Ayaw talaga ni Mike mag-celebrate ng 40th. But I realized it’s a milestone worth celebrating — especially after everything we’ve been through entering 2026, with both our moms and all the blessings God has poured over us this year.

𝐀 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝.

Zone 5’s first Grand ADD was held today at Hotel. It felt extra special because this was also the very first hotel where I worked almost 20 years ago as a bartender at the 20/20 Bar.

But today, I returned not as an employee — but as one of the keynote speakers for AXA’s Discovery Day, speaking to more than 100 aspiring advisors who listened, laughed, and even cried with our stories.

Together with 𝗨𝗛 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗛 𝗗𝗿. 𝗘𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮, it was such a joy to give back and share why we love what we do — the opportunity to help people, families, and businesses through insurance.

I always say that sharing our story with baby Miaka is one of the most painful things to do — but also the most powerful to share. Kasi hindi natin alam ang pinagdadaanan ng bawat isa, and our stories may be the very thing that gives hope to someone else.

Humbled and grateful to be invited by Ms. Cheska San Diego-Bobadilla of Changed by Faith podcast, where we shared our journey — Miaka’s battle with Biliary Atresia, and how God placed us in the insurance industry with a deeper purpose: to help families prepare and not experience what we went through alone.

May mga daan talaga tayong pinagdadaanan na masakit, that we don’t understand at first. But I truly believe God is preparing us for something greater.

Baby Miaka will always be my biggest “what if.” But in my heart, I know she is proud of us — sharing our story and testifying to how faithful God has been in our lives, mula noon, hanggang ngayon.

𝗬𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘂𝘀.

We were invited by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐤𝐚 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐞𝐠𝐨-𝐁𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚 to her podcast 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝑭𝒂𝒊𝒕𝒉, where Mike and I opened our hearts and shared our story — our journey with baby Miaka, how we became financial advisors, and how we learned to love the insurance industry in securing and helping families and individuals.

Sharing our journey is never easy. Every time we tell our story, there’s still a part of our heart that feels it. But I remember Pastor Rick saying, “𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒑𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅.” We may not understand it now, but in time, we find our purpose through our pain.

The sadness never fully goes away.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐞 𝐃𝐨 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐬 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬.

Pastor Andy’s Back on Track series—especially the part about work— reminded us of something so important: 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒊𝒔 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒘.

Sometimes, we complain about our careers—our colleagues, our bosses, the workload—forgetting that we once prayed for our businesses, our jobs, and our careers. But because of pressure, worldly values, and the urge to be on top, we slowly ignore what God has already placed in our hands.

Yesterday, I was humbled to be invited as a guest speaker at 𝗧𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝘆𝗻𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗹𝗹-𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝘆𝗻𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘅 at the Makati Service Center. As I answered their questions, it reminded me that in my 12 years in the industry, God has allowed my work to make an impact in the lives of our clients—by helping provide the right plans for what they truly need.

Our work is a 𝒔𝒂𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒈𝒊𝒇𝒕 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑮𝒐𝒅.
It is where we spend much of our time, energy, and heart.
God creates, blesses, and uses our work for His glory.

So we ask ourselves:
Who am I really doing this for?
What has God placed in my hands?
Am I using it for His glory?

Truly grateful to be part of an industry na madalas misunderstood, hindi pinapansin, at minamaliit—pero napakaraming natutulungan.

To my fellow advisors: 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞. 𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩. You are here for a reason—for God’s purpose. Maaring nasa season ka ng pagtatanim, o dumadaan sa matinding pagsubok, o pakiramdam mo nasa dead-end ka na. You are not alone. God is walking with you.

Last year, when 𝗗𝗝 Nicole Hyala was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, isa kami sa mga unang tinawagan niya. Calm, cool, and collected siya—mas ako pa ang umiyak. Pero kilala naman natin si DJ Nicole, or Ms. Emmy sa mga mas nakakakilala sa kanya—napakatatag talaga ng loob niya.

Alam niya na ang backup niya ay ang Panginoon. Alam niya na malalagpasan niya ang pagsubok na ito.

Na-share ko na last year kung paano niya nagamit ang 𝐆𝐇𝐀 niya for her procedure and post-therapy sessions. Pero alam ko rin na may 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫 siya sa VUL plan niya with AXA.

Doon ko naisip… 𝙞-𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙢—𝙠𝙖𝙝𝙞𝙩 𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞 𝙥𝙖 𝙣𝙞𝙮𝙖 𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙢.

Nagpapasalamat kami sa tiwala na ibinigay sa amin ng pamilya niya. Habang pinapapirma ko siya ng mga documents, ang sabi ko lang, “𝑵𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒐 𝒏𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒏 𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒖𝒑𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒆.”

I prayed about it. And I felt that the best place to hand her the cheque was AXA’s main office in Makati.

With the help of our 𝐙𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐨, 𝐀𝐃𝐌 𝐑𝐢𝐚 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐚𝐭, our 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐲 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫, 𝐀𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐏𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐨 (𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐬 𝐒𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫), 𝐒𝐞𝐢 𝐍𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬 (𝐒𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 & 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫), 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐉𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐚 (𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫), in-invite namin si Ms. Nicole sa office—simple lang ang sinabi: “𝑴𝒂𝒚 𝒊𝒏𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒑𝒐 𝒌𝒂𝒚𝒐 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒐𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆.”

Buti available siya. Kahit medyo confused kung bakit kailangan pumunta, pero sumama siya.

Pagdating namin, sinalubong kami nina ZD Gerard at ADM Ria. Pagdating ni Sir Nandy and the rest of the team, pinakilala ang lahat. Tapos sinabi ni Sir Nandy,
“𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙨𝙚, 𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙈𝙨. 𝙉𝙞𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙮 𝙨𝙝𝙚’𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚.”

Doon ko ipinaliwanag ang plan na kinuha niya sa akin noong 2014.
Medyo hindi na niya maalala—kaya ni-remind ko siya: ang VUL plan niya na may critical illness rider. At dahil nagkaroon siya ng critical illness last year, eligible siya for a claim.

Nang iabot ko ang cheque, doon siya talagang nagulat.
Hindi niya in-expect. Hindi niya alam na may ganun pala siyang benefit.

As her advisor, sobrang grateful ako—kasi alam kong nabigyan ko siya ng tamang insurance plan, isang policy na nandiyan para sa kanya sa panahong hindi niya inaasahan.

Walang taong gustong magkasakit. Pero hindi rin natin hawak ang lahat ng mangyayari sa buhay. Kaya mas mabuting secured—may plano na sasalo sa atin sa panahon ng uncertainty.

Moments like this make me proud to be an advisor.
Hindi madali ang trabaho namin, pero iba ang fulfillment kapag alam mong may natulungan kang tao sa totoong oras ng pangangailangan.
