Until I became a wife.
Until I became a mom.
Until I realized how many people depend on me.

After 12 years in this industry, I’ve heard so many reasons why people hesitate to get insured.

“Hindi ko naman kailangan ngayon.”

And honestly, I understand. 🩵

Ang bilis, ‘no?

Every year, ang dami nating pinaghahandaan—gifts, Noche Buena, reunions, travels, at kung anu-ano pa.

We plan. We save. We prepare.

And maybe, habang ginagawa natin ang Christmas list natin, magandang maisip din natin:

But today, I’m reminded that there are also heroes among us—people who quietly show up every day, do their work, carry their responsibilities, and make sacrifices for the people they love.

They may wear different uniforms.
They may have different professions.
They may have different stories.

But what makes them heroes is the same—their willingness to serve, to sacrifice, and to care.

To the parents working hard for their families, the professionals serving others, the OFWs far from home, the teachers shaping young minds, the healthcare workers caring for lives, and everyone who gives their best each day.

Maraming salamat. 🩵

You may not always be recognized, but your sacrifices matter.

𝑳𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒌, 𝑰 𝒎𝒆𝒕 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈-𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒄𝒍𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝒑𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒚 𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒆𝒘.

Habang nag-uusap kami, we realized that while his existing policy had served him well, hindi na pala enough for where he is today—especially with his current income, assets, responsibilities, and the legacy he wants to leave for his child.

I love how this plan was aligned with what he wanted: 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮, 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙬. Hindi lang protection ang pinag-usapan namin, but also how he can grow his money over time and create a stronger financial foundation for his family.

Kasi bilang mga magulang, ganito naman tayo, di ba?

We think beyond ourselves.
We think about our children’s future.
Their security.
Their opportunities.
And the legacy we will eventually leave them.

I’ve been going through a lot these past few weeks.

There were things I prayed for that didn’t happen the way I hoped. I wasn’t able to take the class I really wanted.
And once again, our family experienced a loss.

There were moments when I had to pause and ask,
“Lord, bakit ganito?”

But through all of it, one thing remains true:

God is still with us.

Sometimes, we don’t understand why certain doors close. Sometimes, the answer is not what we prayed for. Sometimes, we have to grieve before we can move forward.

But I’m learning to trust that God sees the bigger picture even when we can only see what is happening today.

So as August comes to an end, I choose to hold on to hope.

Hope that what feels like a setback may be a redirection.
Hope that healing will come.
Hope that better days are ahead.
Hope that the prayers we’ve been quietly carrying will be answered in God’s perfect time.

And if you’re also going through something right now, I hope you hold on too.

Hindi man natin naiintindihan ang lahat ngayon, hindi ibig sabihin na wala nang magandang naghihintay sa atin.

God is with us—in the waiting, in the grieving, in the uncertainty, and in the breakthrough. 🩵

So let’s keep believing.

But no matter how much you grow, a part of us will always remember the little girl you used to be—the one we carried, cared for, prayed over, and loved with every part of our hearts.

Sixteen years of watching you grow has been such a beautiful journey. We’ve seen your little victories, your struggles, your tears, your laughter, and all the moments that have shaped you into the beautiful young woman you are today.

And today, we simply want to celebrate YOU.

The girl you are today.
The young woman you’re becoming.
And the beautiful person God created you to be.

Take your time.
Make mistakes.
Learn from them.
Laugh a lot.
