Maunong Elementary School successfully conducted its 2-Day In-Service Training (INSET) designed to strengthen teachers’ knowledge, skills, and practices in delivering quality, inclusive, and learner-centered education.

🌧️ DAY 1 – ONLINE INSET
Due to the prevailing bad weather condition, the first day of INSET was conducted online, ensuring the continuity of professional learning while keeping everyone safe.

📌 Session 1: Empowering Reflective and Transformative Learning Delivery
🎤 Speaker: Ma’am Racquel D. Tanael, MT

📌 Session 2: Ensuring a Safe and Motivating Learning Environment for All Learners
🎤 Speakers: Ma’am Genalyn C. Abolizo, Teacher II & Ma’am Lea M. Pamplona, Teacher III

🏫 DAY 2 – FACE-TO-FACE INSET
The second day continued through a meaningful face-to-face learning session, providing opportunities for collaboration, sharing of experiences, and professional growth.

📌 Session 1: Differentiated Instruction: Empowering Teachers to Address Diverse Learner Needs
🎤 Speaker: Ma’am Melody G. De Ocampo, Teacher IV

📌 Session 2: Revised Guidelines on Classroom Assessment, Grading System, and Awards and Recognition

💡 The two-day training provided valuable opportunities for teachers to reflect on their practices, respond to diverse learner needs, create safe and motivating learning environments, and deepen their understanding of assessment and recognition policies.

🏠🚨 3rd NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL (NSED) 2026 🚨🏠

On September 10, 2026, the learners of Maunong Elementary School actively participated in the 3rd National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026 while at home.

With the guidance of their parents and family members, our learners practiced the essential “Duck, Cover, and Hold” safety procedure and learned the importance of staying calm, alert, and prepared during an earthquake.

Even while at home, our learners showed that disaster preparedness begins with every child, every family, and every community. 💪❤️
