Don’t let the world give you everything while you slowly lose your soul 🙌
A fancy car.
A big house.
A successful career.
A happy family.
A loving relationship.
Faithful friends.
Serving in ministry.
Being active in church.
There is nothing wrong with desiring these things. In fact, God delights in blessing His children. Every good and perfect is gift comes from Him. 😇
But if, in gaining all these things, you begin to lose your love for God—if your attitude changes, your character becomes prideful, you become boastful, disrespectful, selfish, unwilling to receive correction, and you slowly neglect your relationship with Him—then you may have gained what the world offers but lost what matters most.💔
As followers of Christ, our greatest blessing is not our possessions, achievements, status, or even our position in ministry. Our greatest blessing is a heart that remains humble and surrendered to Jesus, and a soul that is continually transformed by His love and His Word.❤️
Sometimes God allows us to walk through challenges, failures, disappointments, and sacrifices—not to destroy us, but hes's teaching us a great lessons and remind us that He alone is enough. These seasons teach us to trust Him more than His blessings, to obey His voice, and to say, “Lord, let Your will be done, not mine.” 🙌✝️
Keep a humble heart. Pray continually. Seek God’s wisdom. Trust His leading, and let Him direct every decision you make.
Because in the end, it is better to walk with God in humility than to walk with the world in success without Him.
“What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul?”
— Matthew 16:26 📖
