🚨 Scam Alert: “We’d like to pay you for posting our content on your page.”

Be cautious if you receive messages like this on social media. Scammers are now using this trick by offering quick money in exchange for posting their content.

How the Scam Works
• The Offer
You receive a message promising large sums of money for minimal effort, such as posting “sponsored” content. To look convincing, they may claim to represent big brands like Nike, Nestlé, Puma, or Nissan.
• The Catch
Once you show interest, they’ll direct you to a fake website disguised as a marketing platform. Their goal is to steal sensitive information such as:
• Bank details
• Credit card numbers
• Social Security numbers
• Usernames and passwords

Some scammers may even ask you to pay a small “verification fee” or “unlock payment.” Remember: legitimate companies will never ask you to pay in order to get paid.

What You Should Do

✔️ Do not click on links – They often lead to phishing sites.
✔️ Never share personal information – Protect your financial and login details.
✔️ Verify the sender – Real companies use official, verified accounts.
✔️ Block and report – The safest action is to block the account and report it to the platform.

⚠️ Reminder: If an offer sounds too good to be true, it’s almost always a scam. Stay alert and protect your information

IPMR Nagpahayag Tungkol sa Isyu ng mga Vlogger na Gamit ang Pangalang "Mangyan"
Naglabas ng pahayag ang Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR) kaugnay ng ilang mga vlogger na gumagamit ng screen name na "Mangyan" sa kanilang social media platforms, kahit hindi sila tunay na katutubong Mangyan. Ayon sa IPMR, kinakailangan ng malinaw na pahintulot mula sa komunidad ng mga Mangyan sa paggamit ng kanilang pangalan, upang maprotektahan ang imahe at karapatan ng mga tunay na katutubo.

Para sa buong detalye, maaaring sundan ang ulat mula sa 12th Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Oriental Mindoro.

Tanong: Sino-sino na nga ba ang mga vlogger na gumagamit ng pangalang "Mangyan" ngunit hindi naman totoong kabilang sa komunidad ng mga katutubong Mangyan?
