It wasn’t in a grand venue or during a perfectly planned surprise. Instead, it happened in the quiet of a Catholic church, standing before a priest who has been close to our family for years.

To be honest, we didn’t even know you could get engaged in a church… until we did. What made it even more special was how different it was from the usual. We didn’t just have the typical moment where the lady receives a ring—we exchanged engagement vows, and we both received rings. It felt more intentional, more sacred… like a promise we both chose to make, together.

It may not have been the kind of engagement we imagined growing up, but in that moment, everything felt right. No grand setup—just peace, love, and the quiet certainty that God was at the center of it all.

Not the way we planned it, but exactly the way it was meant to be. And truly, it was all worth it. ✨

A heartfelt thank you to Father Allen for guiding us through such a meaningful and sacred moment, and to our families for their love, support, and presence that made it even more special. 🤍

Trivia: Those same rings were later blessed and became the very rings we used during our civil wedding. 🤍
