In observance of the Day of Mourning today, June 5, 2025, the Local Government Unit of Calatagan, Batangas, pays tribute to the lives of John Luis Agquiz Olarte, Gerry Aducon Olarte, and Ronald Rabino Alumno, who were tragically murdered in Maguindanao del Sur.
The Local Government Unit of Calatagan, Batangas, stands in solidarity with the bereaved families of the victims and assures them of its full support in their pursuit of justice. To aid in the immediate resolution of this crime and to bring the perpetrators to justice, the Municipality of Calatagan deems it proper to offer a reward of ₱100,000 to any person who can provide any credible and verifiable information leading to arrest and prosecution of those responsible, in accordance to SB Resolution No. 090, S.2025
