| Milagrosinians File Candidacy for SSLG Election 2025-2026
Yesterday, June 10, 2025, a sense of anticipation filled the air across the Junior and Senior High School Buildings of La Milagrosa Academy, Inc, with students from grades 7 to 12 officially filing their candidacies for the most-awaited Supreme Student Learner Government (SSLG) Election Bid 2025-2026.
The filing saw a blend of both familiar and new faces as candidates stepped up for the upcoming elections. A notable portion of those who filed are incumbent SSLG leaders, aiming for re-election by capitalizing on their past achievements and leadership experience.
However, the democratic process also welcomed new faces and even transferee students who bravely dared to run for office, demonstrating a strong commitment to aiming for a better school year for the entire LMA-Community.
As the competitive landscape of the SSLG election has begun to take shape, two distinct parties have emerged in the Junior High Department. Meanwhile, the Senior High Department sees the formation of a single dominant party, though there are a few independent candidates running for key positions.
Among these, the incumbent Senior High SSLG Vice-President, Trishia Rebarter, stands out. Having secured her place as the sole candidate for the SHS-SSLG Presidency, her ascension promises a smooth transition and continued leadership in the Senior High Department.
The SSLG Election Bid 2025-2026 will officially commence today, June 11, 2025, at exactly 1:00 PM, with voting taking place in the respective departments of the of the Junior High and Senior High School Building.
This election serves as a cornerstone of student participation, providing a necessary platform for Milagrosinians to elect representatives who will voice their concerns, support their initiatives, and contribute to the overall betterment of school life.
In keeping with La Milagrosa's tradition of producing responsible and involved future leaders, the results of todayโs election will surely have an impact on the course and success of student activities and welfare for the 2025โ2026 academic year.
