Excitement filled the air as Milagrosinians gathered for the La Milagrosa Academy, Inc. Acquaintance and Induction Party held on July 16, 2026. More than a celebration, the event became a space where students reconnected with familiar faces, welcomed new classmates, and embraced the beginning of another academic year together.

Guided by the theme, "United in Faith, Connected in Friendship, Committed to Leadership," the celebration featured the induction of newly elected student leaders, lively performances, shared meals, and the much-awaited Mr. and Ms. Acquaintance presentation. Each activity reflected the values of unity, service, and fellowship that continue to shape the Milagrosinian community.

Beyond the program itself, the celebration offered moments of conversation, laughter, and shared experiences that brought the school community closer together. As Milagrosinians continue the journey of a new school year, the spirit of faith, friendship, and leadership remains at the heart of every new connection made.

๐—ก๐—˜๐—ช๐—ฆ ๐—•๐—˜๐—”๐—ง: LMA Holds Acquaintance and Induction Party Today

La Milagrosa Academy, Inc. holds its Acquaintance and Induction Party today, July 16, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., bringing together students, faculty members, and newly elected student leaders in a celebration of fellowship and leadership. Carrying the theme, "United in Faith, Connected in Friendship, Committed to Leadership," the event officially welcomes the new academic year while recognizing the school's newly elected officers.

The program features the induction of classroom officers from Grades 1 to 12, followed by the induction of the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG), Junior High School Supreme Secondary Learner Government (JHS SSLG), and Senior High School Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SHS SSLG). Intermission performances, dinner, and the Mr. and Ms. Acquaintance presentation highlight the celebration before the awarding ceremony concludes the program.

The activity aims to strengthen friendship among learners while encouraging leadership, service, and active participation within the school community.

Every student carries more than books and deadlinesโ€”they also carry dreams, doubts, and the weight of expectations society places them in. In the rush to meet academic demands and pressure, it's easy to forget that learning is not confined within the four corners of a classroom but also experiencing things at least once in our lives.

Like choosing an outfit before a mirror, students also choose to pause, smile, and embrace moments that remind them life is more than grades and expectations they carry. An acquaintance party is more than a celebration; it is a chance to create memories, build friendships, and rediscover the joy of being young. Going on a day when you can feel free of your worries, and enjoying every moment of it.

Because being a student is not only about surviving exams or completing requirements. It is also about experiencing the laughter between lessons, the stories shared with classmates, chaotic adventures, and the moments that make school feel like a sa haven to call a second home. After all, the best education is not only found in books or papersโ€”but also in the memories and experiences along the way.

๐—ช๐—˜๐—”๐—ง๐—›๐—˜๐—ฅ ๐—จ๐—ฃ๐——๐—”๐—ง๐—˜ | Tropical Depression HAISHEN Forms East of Eastern Visayas

The low-pressure area (LPA) located east of the Visayas has developed into Tropical Depression HAISHEN, according to the latest Tropical Cyclone Advisory No. 1 issued by DOST-PAGASA at 11:00 AM on July 13, 2026.

As of 10:00 AM, the center of HAISHEN was estimated at 1,265 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas, still outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). The tropical depression packs maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h, with gusts reaching 70 km/h, and is moving west-northwestward at 30 km/h.

PAGASA said HAISHEN may enter the PAR tonight or by Tuesday morning, July 14, and will be assigned the local name Josie. Forecast tracks indicate that the cyclone will generally move northward before turning north-northeastward and is expected to exit the PAR by Wednesday, July 15.

The weather bureau also noted that HAISHEN may intensify into a tropical storm within the next 12 hours before gradually weakening due to unfavorable environmental conditions. At present, it is less likely to directly affect the countryโ€™s weather and sea conditions in the coming days.

DOST-PAGASA advises the public and local disaster risk reduction and management offices to continue monitoring official weather updates for any changes in the cycloneโ€™s movement and intensity.
