𝗡𝗢 𝗧𝗢 𝗝𝗘𝗘𝗣𝗡𝗘𝗬 𝗣𝗛𝗔𝗦𝗘-𝗢𝗨𝗧

Jeepneys symbolize Filipino culture and resilience, and they have been part of Filipino culture for over 70 years. It is considered one of the icons of our country and a reflection of the Filipino spirit. Jeepney holds a special place in the hearts of every Filipino, as it is more than just a means of transportation. It is a living testament to Filipino creativity.

However, recent discussions circulating about the government's plan for the jeepney phase-out have caused noise all over the country and sparked debates and concerns. Some people think that it is a good idea and has a good effect on the environment. But what would be the effect of this on the people who drive them?

The Jeepney phase-out will have a big impact on the lives of drivers and operators. It will pose a threat to their livelihood, as they invested their blood, sweat, and tears in these vehicles. The sudden transition to modern alternatives could lead to people losing their jobs and struggling.

We must find other ways to preserve our cultural identity as well as help the environment without making the lives of those who depend on jeepneys heavy.
