After raising over half a trillion pesos from retail treasury bonds (RTBs) last week, the Marcos administration successfully borrowed ₱50 billion from separate sales of debt securities this week.

During the sale of 10-year treasury bonds (T-bonds) on Tuesday, Aug. 19, the Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) fully awarded its ₱25-billion offering, with total bids reaching ₱98.1 billion, nearly four times the amount offered. Demand was stronger than the ₱63.5-billion tenders during the previous 10-year bond auction on July 15. With a remaining maturity of nine years and eight months, the bonds were awarded at an average rate of 5.997 percent.

Ang TOTAL ng buong taon from 2016-2025 ay nasa P84.646 BILLION. Take note again na KASAMA na po rito ang joint ventures ng Sunwest with other various companies. Of this amount, the bulk of the contracts pertained to ROAD/ROAD & BRIDGES (P48 Billion) and FLOOD CONTROL PROJECTS approximately nasa P31 Billion.

It very interesting to note that in 2022, 2023, and 2024, the contracts awarded to Sunwest including its joint ventures with various companies almost QUADRUPLED from 2021.

Sana the Department of Public Works and Highways will make it easily available to the public ang mga reports and data so people can scrutinize. If BBM is truly sincere to involve the people, ang SUMBONG SA PANGULO website na binigay niya should be more comprehensive at dapat may link na agad ng copy ng contracts para makita ng tao. We did try to to look for the copy of the contracts based on the CONTRACT ID, di rin namin mahanap ang iba.

Sana po Sen. Rodante Marcoleta maitanong at MAG RELEASE ng complete list and data ang DPWH para sa lahat ng mga Contractors for all the CONTRACTS AWARDED to each one of them.

1) If you want to see the actual contract you can easily Google it. Just type DPWH + CONTRACT ID. For example you want to check the biggest contract awarded to them, the P1.061 BILLION. In the Google search bar just type DPWH CONTRACT ID 23I00039. Lalabas na ang PDF copy. 2) May napansin kami na may few contracts na may differences ang amount na nasa DPWH vs the contract Price na makikita sa actual Contract. We are not very sure of the reason for this.
