𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗦 𝗠𝗠𝗫𝗫𝗩𝗜 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀

Unit 4 Red Spartans emerged as the Overall Champion of the competition after demonstrating outstanding performance, teamwork, and determination throughout the different events.

Following the final tabulation, the Yellow Vikings secured the 1st Runner-Up position, while the Blue Titans finished as 2nd Runner-Up. The Green Gladiators claimed the 3rd Runner-Up spot, completing the official overall rankings.

The final results reflect the combined performances of all participating units throughout the competition. Each team displayed dedication, sportsmanship, and unity, contributing to the success and excitement of the event.

𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗦𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗦 𝗛𝗔𝗩𝗘 𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗘𝗡

Unit 4 conquers the tertiary level with determination blazing and teamwork at its core, Red Spartans made a powerful statement as they emerged as the Overall Champion of the Tertiary Level, dominating the competition through skill, perseverance, and unity.

From the opening events to the final battles, the Red Spartans consistently displayed their fighting spirit. Each victory, hard-fought match, and determined performance contributed to their journey toward the championship.

Unit 1 Green Gladiators put together a strong performance from start to finish, overpowering Unit 2 Yellow Vikings, 86–69, to capture the gold medal in the Basketball competition of CKC Siglakas MMXXVI.

The championship clash opened with both units trading baskets in a fast-paced first quarter. Unit 1, however, managed to gain the early edge, closing the opening period with a 21–18 lead. The three-point margin gave the Green Gladiators an early advantage, but the Yellow Vikings remained close enough to keep the championship battle wide open.

The second quarter proved to be a turning point as Unit 1 began to pull away. The Green Gladiators added 25 points to their tally while limiting Unit 2 to 16, stretching their lead to 46–34 by halftime. With a 12-point cushion entering the break, Unit 1 had created valuable breathing room, while the Yellow Vikings faced the challenge of finding a way back into the contest.

Coming out of halftime, the Green Gladiators continued to build on their momentum. Unit 1 produced another 23-point quarter, maintaining its offensive rhythm while keeping Unit 2 at bay. The Yellow Vikings managed to put up 18 points, but the gap remained significant as the third quarter ended with Unit 1 holding a 69–52 advantage.

With the championship within reach, the Green Gladiators entered the final quarter with a 17-point lead. Rather than allowing the Yellow Vikings to mount a late comeback, Unit 1 continued to add to its score and finished the fourth quarter with 17 points. Unit 2 also fought through the final minutes, but its 17-point output was not enough to erase the deficit.

When the final tally settled at 86–69, the Green Gladiators had completed a commanding championship performance. Their scoring consistency across all four quarters proved crucial, as Unit 1 recorded 21 points in the first, 25 in the second, 23 in the third, and 17 in the final period.

The Yellow Vikings showed resilience throughout the championship game, particularly in the opening quarter when they stayed within striking distance. However, Unit 1’s second-quarter surge became the difference-maker, allowing the Green Gladiators to establish a lead they would not surrender for the remainder of the game.

With the final buzzer signaling the end of the battle, Unit 1 Green Gladiators officially claimed the gold medal, while Unit 2 Yellow Vikings settled for silver. From a closely contested opening quarter to a decisive finish, the championship game delivered four quarters of competitive basketball and crowned the Green Gladiators as champions of the competition.

𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 | 𝗔𝗺𝗼𝗿, 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘀

Joan Mae Amor of the Yellow Vikings and Trissha Mae Sampayan of the Red Spartans secured gold medals in the Women’s Singles A and B categories, respectively, in the table tennis competition held at CKC TG 7 on September 22–23, 2026.

Amor dominated the Women’s Singles A category, securing a 2–0 victory with scores of 11–8 and 11–2. Her tactical ex*****on, precise serves, and powerful strokes helped her overcome her opponents throughout the competition.

In the earlier matches, Amor’s Yellow Vikings defeated the Blue Titans, 2–0 (11–5, 11–7), while the Red Spartans advanced to the next round after defeating the Green Gladiators, 2–0 (11–9, 11–9).

Amor eventually claimed the gold medal, followed by Julianne Mercader of Unit IV with silver and Jhannelle Cabunduc of Unit III with bronze.

Meanwhile, Sampayan secured the gold medal in the Women’s Singles B category after winning 2–0 (11–8, 11–7). She displayed accurate serves and strong attacking strokes throughout the match.

Reflecting on her performance, Sampayan emphasized the importance of managing pressure and maintaining humility as an athlete.

“Diri magpa-kuan sa pagka-pressure, diri unahan sa sarili an pagka-pressure. Diri ka dapat magpapakita sa ka-hambog, like humble la as an athlete. Na-learn ko mag-respect sa mga tawo bilang athlete,” Sampayan said.

Rachael Arcallana earned the silver medal, while Myca Esparas secured the bronze.

A consistent performance from start to finish propelled Unit 2 Yellow Vikings to the gold medal in the Women’s 5-on-5 Basketball competition of CKC Siglakas MMXXVI, as they turned back Unit 4 Red Spartans, 37–22, in the championship match.

The Vikings immediately established control in the opening quarter, building a 15–6 lead over the Red Spartans. Unit 4 attempted to close the gap in the second quarter, but Unit 2 maintained its advantage at 22–16 heading into halftime.

The Yellow Vikings kept their momentum after the break, matching Unit 4’s six points in the third quarter to preserve a 28–22 lead. Their decisive push came in the final period, where they pulled further ahead and finished the contest with a 37–22 victory.

With the championship win, Unit 2 captured the gold medal, while Unit 4 settled for silver and Unit 3 took bronze. The result capped the Vikings’ campaign with the top spot in women’s basketball at SIGLAKAS MMXXVI.

Unit 1 Green Gladiators finished their Men’s 3-on-3 Basketball campaign on top after defeating Unit 3 Blue Titans, 16–10, in the championship match of CKC Siglakas MMXXVI.

The final brought together two teams determined to claim the top spot, with every possession carrying weight as the game progressed. The Green Gladiators managed to establish an advantage on the scoreboard, using their momentum to maintain control of the championship battle. The Blue Titans continued to challenge Unit 1 and remained within striking distance, but the Gladiators held their ground as the game moved toward its deciding moments.

As the score reached 16–10, Unit 1 completed the championship match with a six-point lead, officially securing the gold medal in the Men’s 3-on-3 Basketball competition. The victory placed the Green Gladiators at the top of the podium, while Unit 3 Blue Titans finished the tournament as silver medalists.

The championship adds another highlight to Unit 1’s SIGLAKAS MMXXVI campaign, as the Green Gladiators proved their mettle in the fast-paced 3-on-3 competition and closed out the tournament with the title.
