My 5-year-old Shawn handed me this Father's Day card he wrote himself 🤩 🥹
As parents, we often dream about our children's future. But having a child with "Autism" and "Global Developmental Delay" taught me something even more valuable, to cherish every little step along the way.
He may not know how much it means to me, but I do.
I see more than words on paper. I see courage. I see determination. I see every therapy session, every practice, every moment of frustration, every tiny breakthrough, and every answered prayer woven into these handwritten letters.
This journey hasn't always been easy, but moments like this remind me that hope is never wasted.
Little progress is still progress.
My son, you continue to amaze me in ways you'll probably never understand. Thank you for reminding me that miracles often happen quietly, one milestone at a time.
I will always be your biggest believer. Always. 💙
