Potato Corner lost a loyal customer today 😔
My 5-year-old son is OBSESSED with Potato Corner. It’s his non-negotiable mall ritual—rain or shine, tantrum or no tantrum. Cheese flavor, always. Large fries. Extra powder, please. He even calls it his “happy fries.”
But today… not so happy.
We ordered like usual. He was all smiles, even said “please” and “thank you” like a mini gentleman. We asked for cheese flavor with extra powder (as always—this is not new behavior). The kuya smiled, nodded, gave us the fries…
And when my son looked inside, he just froze. “Mom… where’s the cheese?”
I looked. The fries were pale. Like, haunted house pale. Barely any flavor at all. He tried to eat them but after two bites, he handed the cup back and said, “It’s not the same.”
We went back to ask if they could add more powder. The staff said, “Standard na po yan.”
Now look—I get it. Maybe they’re controlling portioning. Maybe they’re just having an off day. But try explaining that to a five-year-old who’s holding his Potato Corner like it’s a broken toy.
No cheese. No joy. Just quiet fries and quiet tears on the escalator.

We may be small, but we still deserve flavor. 🥺🍟
