𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗸𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗥𝗲𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗜𝗚𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝟱.𝟬 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Students and alumni of the Metropolitan Institute of Arts and Sciences (MIAS) came together in high spirits for BIGBANG 5.0, a much-awaited get-together that brought the Blackknights community closer than ever. Held at Robinsons Novaliches Tradehall, the event served as a vibrant celebration of unity, camaraderie, and school pride.

BIGBANG 5.0 featured a day filled with lively performances, interactive games, and fellowship activities designed to strengthen the bonds between current students and graduates. Both old and new Blackknights shared stories, laughter, and memories, highlighting the enduring connection that defines the MIAS family.

Students described the event as a refreshing break from academics and a meaningful chance to reconnect with friends and mentors. Many alumni also appreciated the opportunity to relive their school days and witness how MIAS continues to nurture a strong sense of belonging among its students.

As the day concluded, attendees left with renewed school pride and the promise of keeping the Blackknight spirit alive until the next BIGBANG comes around.

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗗𝗢 𝗔𝗟𝗨𝗠𝗡𝗜 𝗦𝗔𝗬?

As an alumna, my two years at MIAS will always be cherished. Through this school, I've been able to hone my skills and achieve my highest potential. I've also had more opportunities to venture outside of my comfort zone. With that, I will always be thankful to our beloved teachers for their unwavering belief in each student's potential and for serving as their constant support system. Their words of encouragement enabled everyone to refine their abilities.

This senior high school journey brought a new era in my life, an era in which my love for speaking and performing was revived and greatly amplified. And the knowledge I have gained from this school is something I will take with me far beyond college. On top of that, the remarkable experiences I had here were also a turning point in my life, where my passion and determination to utilize my skills to be a voice for the voiceless and to give vision to the dreamers ignited.

𝑴𝑰𝑨𝑺 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒔 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑻𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒅𝒂 𝑬𝒔𝒌𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒂 2025

Caloocan City — In a show of community solidarity, MIAS has partnered with several public schools in Caloocan to support this year’s Brigada Eskwela 2025. The initiative aims to prepare schools for the upcoming academic year by ensuring clean and well-maintained learning environments.

Among the partner schools are Camarin High School, Cielito Zamora Junior High School, Tala High School, Bagong Silang High School, and Sampaguita High School.

To aid the schools’ maintenance efforts, MIAS donated cleaning materials and essential supplies, enabling classrooms to be kept clean and conducive to learning throughout the year.

Brigada Eskwela is a nationwide volunteer program that rallies communities, parents, teachers, and organizations to contribute time and resources to improve public schools ahead of the school opening.

Through this partnership, MIAS reaffirms its commitment to supporting quality education and fostering community development in Caloocan.
