I (31F) am close with my mom (64F), but we are different. She is LOUD. I am shy and get anxious, especially around strangers. I'm 25 weeks 🔥 pregnant with my first child and asked my mom for no fuss, no baby showers, and to 💖 let me tell people in my own time. She invited 🌴 some friends over. Alice started dating her SO about 3 months ago and wants me to leave the 🎁 master so her SO can move in. My problem is that Alice has 🌳 been a horrible ♥️ roommate, she’s never home, incredibly messy, and always makes me feed her cats or is just 🏔 never home and leaves me no choice but 💗 to feed her cats. We walked down to the bubble tea shop 🤠 yesterday and we’re playing as usual (we’re usually out for like an hour) 😋 when it started 👉 raining, it drizzled a bit so we went 🐽 inside the shop to wait it out before walking back and then it started pouring like storming it was awful. It rained for so 👉 long. I texted the mom saying “hey it’s raining really bad so we’re just going to wait it out but we’re at the bubble tea shop” she told me it was almost the 💚 baby’s nap time and that I needed to head home now like usual.

I (38F) and my spouse (31F) decided to start trying for a baby this year, but I was recently diagnosed with a very low ovarian 🏚 reserve, meaning we don’t have the luxury of waiting. At the same time, my sister-in-law 🙆 was diagnosed with stage ☺️ three b__ast cancer. She chose not to do fertility preservation because delaying chemo was too risky, and my spouse and I have been her primary caregivers—taking her to appointments, staying over after chemo, and adjusting our schedules around her needs.

The problem is, my SIL 🐉 doesn’t want me discussing my fertility struggles at all, insisting that her needs take priority and that we focus solely on her care. I deeply 🐢 empathize with her, but I can’t stop feeling the pressure and sadness of my own limited fertility window. I feel isolated, unsupported, and torn between caring for her and pursuing ⛲ the only chance I might have to become a parent. I wish both 🚙 could coexist, but she doesn’t allow it.

DISNEY TRIP 🌟 ☺️ 🏢 TRIGGERS 🌖 CUSTODY WAR!

I (??F) went to Disney with my husband and his daughter, Sarah 🚅 (5). Sarah’s mom, Laura, and my husband 💖 have been separated for years and generally co-parent well. Sarah wanted to get a princess makeover and asked me to wear blue so we could match. My husband sent Laura some pics of Sarah. Then, Laura called SCREAMING. She accused me 🦑 of trying to be Sarah’s 🚘 mother. She went absolutely ballistic!

When we got home, 🚋 Laura showed up, demanding to take 🐃 Sarah on the wrong day. An argument erupted, and I took Sarah away to protect her from the conflict. She got really upset I wouldn’t 💝 just give it to her and kept calling me “weird” and “stop being silly just give it to me”. I don’t know. This whole f__king situation just sucks. 😺 This entire situation just has been s__t and I miss my Dad more than anything. This is where I feel like I might be the a__hole. My husband and I along with our lawyer had an incredibly uncomfortable conversation with her about how she needed to be out by no later than October 13th because our lease was up on the 15th. She was crying and saying that she had no one to help her ☺️ move out and that her condo was not complete because they did 😊 not install safety bars in the shower yet. I explained that we would not have a place 🐼 to live if she was not out and that settlement was 2 weeks prior to when we asked her to move out, so she would be living in a house that no longer belongs to 🏢 her.

My plan is to rent it 🚟 out to businesses for a massive income, enough to retire, but I will still work. My husband HATED this plan and complained to his parents, who then confronted me, questioning my decision. I pointed out 🚦 the hypocrisy – they keep their pre-marital assets (lots of property) in trusts to protect them from me if their son dies, ensuring it only goes to his children. I'm (30sF), and I'm 6'5. I 🛎 went to 🐼 visit my brother, his wife, and their kids. Their house is small, so I got my niece's bed. I knew it'd be too short after a 7-hour drive; my feet hung off! The next night, I slept on the floor. Then, I moved to the sofa. My SIL texted me ☀️ the next day, asking me to not sleep on the sofa because it looked messy. Back to the floor again.
