The Pinoy Otaku Festival Event Team, after careful consideration and research of the expected weather conditions on the weekend of the event on September 4-6, has 𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗟𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗔 𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘. The target date is either November 6-8 or December 4-6, pending the clearance of the new date from Robinsons Novaliches.

Considering the above and the following considerations, we decided to reschedule:
1. Safety and health concerns for all event goers, considering Regalado Ave. tends to be impassable during extreme rain, and other areas tend to be flooded.
2. Merchants may not be able to sell well due to limitations on the number of attendees due to possible non-attendance due to the weather.
3. Our own staff has already been affected by the recent floods, and this new situation may further aggravate the current dilemma.

This is an unfortunate event, and rescheduling is better than continuing.

Here are our judges for the 𝗛𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝟱 happening on September 5, Saturday, during Pinoy Otaku Festival (POF) 2026: KAIKO (Retro Festival) at Robinsons Novaliches Trade Hall.

• 𝗞𝗔𝗥𝗔𝗦𝗨
The veteran judge of karaoke competitions for Red Cloud Interactive since 2014. He is a JPOP/JRock fan, and also a singing aficionado himself.

• 𝗗𝗬𝗘𝗬𝗗𝗜
Our special guest from Quezon Province. He might be a rookie Otaku singer and performer, but he is not new when it comes to singing. A singing aficionado, cover singer, and knowledgeable when it comes to song remixing and blending.

• Cess
Winner of Otaku Choice Awards 2024 with the titles Oustanding Solo Idol and Outstanding Japanese Cover Singer. Known for her bubbly, kawaii, idol energy.

REGISTRATION:
1. Up to 30 participants will be accepted. Registration will be closed if all 30 slots have been taken, or until onsite registration has been closed, whichever circumstances came first.

2. RCI staff, POF 2025 event judges, and previous May POF Karaoke Battle Royale winners (POF 2023, POF 2024, & POF 2025) are ineligible to join the contest.

3. Contestants may select up to three (3) J-pop songs**, TV size for the elimination round, and a full song for the final round (maximum 5 minutes). If there are 2 or more contestants who have selected the same song, the first to register will be given the right to retain their song, and the rest must change their song.

4. Any Japanese songs are allowed, as long as the majority of lyrics are in Japanese. Official Japanese versions from a non-Japanese song are allowed as well.

5. Instrumentals that will be submitted must be in MP3 format, and should not be rearranged or re-mixed from their original version.

6. Adjustment of key is allowed only if you will genderbend a song (Ex. Female Version - JoJo Opening).

7. Performers and their staff, exhibitors may join provided that they will buy a ticket.

8. The organizers will not be liable for any falsification of information written by the participant on the online/on-site registration.

CONTEST RULES:

1. SING THE SONG THE ORIGINAL SINGER SINGS IT. Since this is a karaoke competition, changing the overall tune (overall melody of a piece of music) or Tone (quality or character of sound produced by a voice) is not allowed. Key adjustment is acceptable, but adding additional tunes, flavors, or anything is strictly prohibited and may result in a score deduction.

2. For eliminations, the order of performance of contestants will be determined via lottery upon their confirmation at the registration booth. The number drawn by the contestants is final and will be followed.

3. Each contestant will sing their song in TV-size length, and the panel of judges will score every performance on a scale of zero (0) to ten (10). The highest score each contestant can receive is 30, while a 0 is the lowest possible score.

4. Contestants reading their lyrics while singing onstage will be deducted half of their total points, and singing the full song despite our instruction will result in disqualification.

5. The five (5) highest scoring contestants, after the elimination round, will advance to the final round.

6. For the final round, all contestants will sing their song in full. However, they can opt to use the same song they performed in the previous round.

SCORING:
1. The top scorer of this contest will be the KBR Season 5 champion.
2. The scoring will be as follows:
* Voice Quality: 40%
* Mastery of Lyrics, Pronunciation & Enunciation: 30% (-10 points if contestant read their lyrics onstage)
* Song Choice and Stage Presence: 25%
* Audience Impact: 5%
Total: 100%

PRIZES:
1. Champion: Php1,000 + Certificate + Ani-One PH Merch
2. Runner-Up: Php500 + Certificate + Ani-One PH Merch

• YU-EN アユ-デン
YU-EN アユ-デン is composed of a lo**ta and Japanese fashion couple, Ayu and Den. The two started cosplaying as a pair in 2013 and have won various cosplay and fashion photography competitions. They have been featured in a variety of local and international cosplay magazines such as Cohaku Magazine – Germany and NEO Magazine – UK.

YU-EN started wearing lo**ta fashion in 2017 and have since become models for a variety of local and international lo**ta and Japanese fashion brands. They are also the producers of the cosplay magazine Cosplay Anthology and the lo**ta fashion magazine Lo**ta Mémoires.

YU-EN has judged for various lo**ta and Japanese fashion competition in events such as Best of Anime, Toycon, Ozine Fest, Pinoy Otaku Festival, Anime Idol Convention, OnLive, Maifaire, Faeble, and various SM Malls.

• Babhiemiao
Vanessa Querubin-Quiambao, also known as Babhiemiao, is a cosplayer and lo**ta fashion enthusiast. She is the founder of the Philippine Japanese Fashion Community. Known fondly as “Nanay Nessa” or “Mama Nessa” to her close friends, she is a pillar of the lo**ta and Japanese fashion community, helping newbies in the fashion find a safe and fun space. Nessa is also a content creator and an artist.

• Guidelines
1. Create a Harajuku / Japanese fashion–inspired outfit based on anime from 1990–2009
2. Take inspiration from your favorite retro anime characters (e.g. Sailor Moon, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Slam Dunk, Yu Yu Hakusho)
3. No full cosplay allowed. Do not wear exact or complete character costumes
4. Outfit must be your own J-Fashion or Harajuku interpretation of the character’s style
5. Creativity, styling, and fashion-forward reinterpretation are highly encouraged

• Judging Criteria

1. Connection to the Anime Inspiration – 30%
- How well the outfit reflects the chosen anime character while maintaining originality.
- Are recognizable elements from the character incorporated?
Is the inspiration clear without copying the original costume?
Does the look reinterpret the character in a Harajuku / J-Fashion way rather than cosplay?

2. Harajuku / J-Fashion Styling – 20%
- How strongly the outfit represents Japanese street fashion aesthetics.
- Use of layering, silhouettes, textures, and accessories Alignment with J-Fashion styles (Decora, Punk, Lo**ta, Gyaru, Visual Kei, etc.)

3. Overall Coordination & Styling – 20%
- How well the entire look comes together visually.
- Color coordination Accessories, hair, makeup, and footwear
- Attention to detail

4. Stage Presence & Confidence – 25%
- How the participant presents the outfit on stage.
- Confidence while walking or posing
- Ability to showcase the outfit and concept clearly

5. Audience Impact – 5%
- How well the look resonates with the audience. Crowd reaction - Overall visual impact
