🎃 Halloween is coming, but do you know what you’re really celebrating?
🎃 Behind the candy is a curse. Don’t fall for it.
🎃 Don’t be fooled by the fun, Halloween has a darker story.
👀 Before you join the Halloween hype, know the truth behind it.
📌 Halloween traces back to the ancient Celtic festival called Samhain, when people believed the dead could cross over and roam the earth.
📌 They wore costumes and offered food to appease or confuse spirits, acts rooted in darkness and fear.
📌 Those who didn’t join were once believed to be cursed or harmed by spirits.
📌 That’s where the idea of “trick or treat” came from: give something, or receive a curse.
❌What started as a ritual to ward off evil has now been disguised as fun and candy, but the spiritual roots remain the same. 👀
The Bible warns us:
“Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.” - Ephesians 5:11
✅ Just because everybody is doing it doesn’t mean it’s right.
✅ Do not let your children participate in things that open doors to darkness. Protect their hearts and guide them toward what honors God. 💖
🤍 Let’s not open doors the enemy can use. 🤍
Choose what honors God, not what entertains the enemy. 🙏✨
🙌 As Christians, we do not celebrate Halloween or participate in trick or treat, for we are called to walk in light, not darkness.
