Emergency responders are now in the area.

As of this posting, the cause of the accident remains unclear, and the identities of those involved have yet to be determined.

Ayon sa Legazpi City Police Station, inaresto ang suspek na si alyas “Kikoy”, 26 anyos na binata, matapos itong kumagat sa pain nang pagbentahan ang poseur buyer ng isang sachet ng hinihinilang shabu na may timbang na nasa 5 gramo at nagkakahalagang P34,000 kapalit ang P17,000 at boodle money.
Sa isinagawa namang body search, narekober pa sa suspek ang isang built bag laman ang isa pang sachet ng pinaniniwalaang shabu na may timbang na 4 gramo at nagkakahalagang P27,000.
Napag-alaman din, ayon sa pulisya, ginagamit ng suspek ang kanyang kita sa pagbenta ng shabu sa online game na “scatter.”
Aabot naman sa P61,000 na halaga ng shabu ang nakumpiska ng mga otoridad mula sa suspek.
Sa ngayon, nahaharap ito sa kasong paglabag sa RA 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 at kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng pulisya para sa kaukulang disposisyon.

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 | SUSPEK SA PAGPATAY SA ISANG INDIAN NATIONAL SA DARAGA, ALBAY, PATULOY NA PINAGHAHANAP
Nagpapatuloy ang isinasagawang imbestigasyon ng Daraga Municipal Police Station ukol sa nangyaring pamamaslang sa isang Indian national, gabi nitong Hunyo 9, 2025 sa Purok 5, Arellano Extension, Barangay Ilawod, Daraga, Albay.
Dead on the spot kasi ang biktima na kinilalang si Jaswinder Singh Brar, 37 taong gulang at pansamantalang naninirahan sa nasabing barangay, matapos itong barilin ng hindi pa natutukoy na gunman.
Ayon sa report ng pulisya, base sa nakuhang footage ng CCTV sa barangay, dalawang lalaki na parehong nakasuot ng damit na kulay asul ang nakita sa lugar, kung saan isa rito ang nagsilbi umanong spotter.
Nang dumating ang biktima sa inuupahan nitong apartment sakay ng kanyang motorsiklo, bigla itong binaril ng suspek gamit ang hindi natukoy na kalibre ng baril, saka tumakbo papalayo tungo sa hindi malamang direksyon.
Napag alaman din, base pa rin sa CCTV na isang puting sasakyan ang nag-aabang kung saan nakita na sumakay ang isa sa mga suspek matapos ang pagputok ng baril.
Sa ngayon, pinaghahanap na ang dalawang lalaking nakita sa CCTV gayundin ang nasabing sasakyan.

BINABAAN ng Court of Appeals ang ipinataw na parusang administratibo ng Office of the Ombudsman laban kay Governor-elect Noel Rosal at asawa nitong si dating Legazpi City Mayor Geraldine Rosal.
Sa labing-limang pahina na desisyon ng Fifteenth Division ng CA na may petsang Mayo 30, 2025, matapos ng kanilang sinagawang pag-review, bagaman may nakita ang CA na pagkakamali sa mga Rosal, binaliktad nito ang naging unang desisyon ng Ombudsman na parusang “dismissal” dahil sa kakulanganan sa sapat na ibedensya.
Matatandaan, sinampahan ng kasong grave misconduct, oppression, and conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the service ang mag-asawang Rosal kasama si Engineer Clemente Ibo. Isa sa mga reklamo ang umano’y reassignment ng ilang department heads.

WHEREFORE, premises considered, the instant petition for review is PARTLY GRANTED. The Joint Resolution of the Office of the Ombudsman in OMB-L-A-MAR-23-0029 dated June 18, 2024 is hereby MODIFIED.
Petitioner Noel E. Rosal is found guilty of simple misconduct and conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the service and is meted the penalty of suspension from the service for one year.
Petitioner Carmen Geraldine B. Rosal is found guilty of conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the service and is meted the penalty of suspension from the service for nine months.
In the event that the penalty of suspension can no longer be served by reason of petitioners’ separation from the service, petitioners shall pay a fine equivalent to their respective salary for 44 Section 54, 2017 Rules on Administrative Cases in the Civil Service.”

A motion to suspend the proclamation of Noel Rosal as governor of Albay was filed by the legal counsel of Rep. Joey Salceda during the canvassing proceedings at the Albay Provincial Capitol this afternoon.

The motion argued that Rosal, who was previously unseated by an Ombudsman order due to a legal case, should not be proclaimed. The petitioner insisted that the candidate who garnered the second highest number of votes should instead be declared the winner.

However, Albay Election Supervisor Atty. Maria Aurea Bo-Bunao of the Commission on Elections said the motion lacked sufficient legal basis under Resolution 1002 Section 4. After hearing both sides, the Comelec-Albay Provincial Board of Canvassers decided to proceed with the proclamation of Rosal as the duly elected governor for the 2025 midterm polls.

Rosal officially returns to the province’s top executive post following his disqualification in 2022.
