𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙊𝙖𝙩𝙝-𝙏𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙮 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓

The Office of Student Services and Development (OSSD) proudly lead the Mass Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony held last September 25, 2025. A significant event that formally welcomed and recognized the new set of student leaders across various colleges and organizations.

The ceremony opened with warm and motivating remarks from Dr. Sonny DC. Torres, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs. His words highlighted that leadership is not about holding a position, but about becoming a cause of positive change within the university community. And to embrace the Responsibility of being a leader.

One of the most inspiring parts of the program was the address delivered by Mr. Emerson M. Jasmin, former Supreme Student Council President A.Y 2018–2019. In his speech, he shared his experiences as a student leader and reminded the newly inducted officers to think about the real reason why they chose to run for their positions. He encouraged them to lead not just for the title or recognition, but to serve sincerely with passion and dedication for the students. His message was both inspiring and challenging, reminding us that true leadership starts with selflessness and leaves a meaningful impact.

During the ceremony, the different student organizations of the university were formally presented, each represented by their officers and members. One of them was our organization, Philippine Association of Food Technologists Inc. - TAU Chapter (PAFTI), proudly led by Ms. Norysha Silva, the president. With the guidance and support of our dedicated advisers, Ms. Myrla U. Ramos and Ma'am Susana D. Ramos. Our organization was recognized as part of the community of student leaders who share the same commitment to serve and make a difference within the campus.

The program was officially concluded with the closing remarks of Dr. Danilo N. Officiar, Director of OSSD.

The Mass Induction and Oath-Taking Ceremony 2025 was not just about recognizing the new leaders, but also about reminding them of the true meaning of leadership. It emphasized the importance of leading with honesty, commitment, and a heart to serve. The event showed us that being a student leader is more than holding a position, it’s about making a difference and contributing to the growth of our university.
