The Office of the Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs has released the schedule for the midterm examinations. Regular lecture hours will be designated as the examination period.

Students who are not eligible for Free Higher Education are urged to settle their accounts promptly at the TAU Cashier and Treasury Office, or through bank deposit, on or before the examination week. Please be guided accordingly.

𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙧𝙮 | Thermodynamics

𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙛𝙚𝙧

On Thursday, September 11, 2025, BSE-Science 2 students immersed themselves in the fascinating world of thermodynamics through a hands-on calorimetry experiment. With focus and collaboration, they measured heat transfer to explore the principle of energy conservation. The activity not only reinforced classroom theories but also highlighted the importance of teamwork, precision, and scientific inquiry—proving that learning becomes more meaningful when theory meets practice.

Through Calorimetry experiment we measured how energy flows. Providing an application of the principles of thermodynamics, specifically the conservation of energy. By measuring the temperature changes during heat transfer, we were able to determine the specific heat capacity of substances and verify that energy is not lost, but rather transferred from one body to another.

𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗱 and 𝗗𝗲 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟳 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝘀 in the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗦𝗖𝗦 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲

Based on the official results released by the 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗰 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗖𝗢𝗘), candidates 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗱 and 𝗗𝗲 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗮 emerged as the top contenders across four precincts. 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗱 from [𝗟𝗔𝗚𝗜 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 - 𝗞𝗡𝗬 𝗧𝗔𝗨] garnered 𝟮𝟳𝟮 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 (𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟮), while 𝗗𝗲 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗮, from[𝗔𝗟𝗣𝗛𝗔 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝟰.𝟬] secured 𝟮𝟬𝟵 𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 (𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟳). After the thorough conduct of the election process, the University Commission on Elections (COMELEC) officially announces the results of the TAU Student SSC and CSC Election SY 2025-2026 held on September 11, 2025.

🗳️ These results are based on the votes cast across 21 precincts situated in various colleges, carefully validated and counted by the COMELEC.

Congratulations to the newly elected student leaders, and thank you to everyone who exercised their right to vote! 💚✨

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡 | College of Education (CED) has concluded its 2025–2026 College Student Council (CSC) elections, with a mixed slate of candidates from Alyansa ng mga Lideratong may Puso, Hangarin at Adhikain (ALPHA Partylist 4.0) and Leading Altruists Genuine Individuals (LAGI) Party emerging as victors.

Based on the unofficial tally and results from the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) – Committee on Elections (COE), Gubernatorial candidate Angel Fatima G. Asio of ALPHA 4.0 secured a decisive win with 306 votes cast across four precincts, outpacing her contender who received 201 votes.

Meanwhile, Vice Governor aspirant Wilfredo N. Solis of the LAGI Partylist garnered 369 votes, surpassing his opponent by a margin of 206 votes.

Councilors:
1. Brendalyn Candice V. Gragas (LAGI) – 326 votes
2. Jhon Orly S. Batad (LAGI) – 272 votes
3. Marc Joshua T. Dela Cruz (LAGI) - 266 votes
4. Ryan Karl T. Bautista (ALPHA 4.0) – 261 votes
5. Michelle L. Yadao (LAGI) – 243 votes
6. Jhane Nicole B. Doctor (ALPHA 4.0) - 212 votes
7. Angel Diane Joyce B. De Luna (ALPHA 4.0) - 209 votes

Out of 622 officially enrolled CED students, reported by the Admission and Registration Services (ARS), 565 cast their votes in the recent election, resulting in a voter turnout of 90.87%

Official results will be confirmed and released by the designated electoral committee only after canvassing is completed and all formal appeals have been resolved.
