This costume embodies the spirit of Baryo Mandasig, a community blessed with abundance and strengthened by faith and perseverance. Each detail tells the story of the land that gives life, the farmers who nurture it, and the harvests that sustain an entire town.
The vibrant array of crops — from eggplant to corn, from roots to greens — reflects the village’s devotion to hard work and its gratitude for every blessing of the soil. It is a celebration of life, of culture, and of the enduring bond between the people and the land they call home.
With the guidance of San Isidro Labrador, patron of farmers, Mandasig continues to flourish. A living testament that through labor, faith, and unity, the harvest will always be bountiful.
