HANDBOOK NG MGA BARANGAY OFFICIALS - Pinaakabagong aklat ni Francisco C. Gomez, Jr. - para sa mga nanunungkulan o gustong manungkulan sa Barangay. Naglalaman ito ng mga paksa ukol sa pamamahala ng barangay, kwalipikasyon, tungkulin, gawain, responsibilidad at kapangyarihan ng mga pinuno o opisyales ng barangay. Gayundin ang tungkol sa pinanggagalingan ng pondo o kita ng barangay, budget, ang wastong paggasta dito, pagtutuos, at ang mga ulat- pinansiyal (Financial Reports) na kinakailangang ipaalam sa taongbayan.

The Local Government Code of 1991 and Other Laws and Issuances Related to Barangay Governance Vol 2

Vol. 2., the “Other Issuances Related to Barangay Governance” is a collection of more than 30 laws containing directives that may help barangay officials and employees in performing their duties and determine the extent of their roles and the benefits and incentives provided them by laws and government issuances.

✅ Among the laws of the land, Republic Act No. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of 1991, prescribes best the role of the barangays in community development and nation-building and the ways and means to pursue this role.

✅ Barangay officials who prefer to conduct their duties and responsibilities according to the spirit and the letter of the law need only to refer to the “Local Government Code of 1991, as Amended” and the accompanying book “Laws and Issuances Related to Barangay Governance” and they will always be on the better side of barangay governance.
