Hi Biñan / Sta. Rosa peeps, share lang namin this café we recently discovered — Awaken Coffee Lab.

Nasa loob lang siya ng Napocor area, gilid ng puregold. Open sila until 12am so okay for late night tambay or even work, lalo na may saksakan din and hindi hassle parking.

What we liked about their coffee, hindi siya reliant sa syrups. You can actually taste the beans, and the barista knows what they’re serving. If you’re someone who enjoys coffee for its actual flavor, ma-appreciate mo siya.

Overall, chill lang yung place, nothing too loud, just a good spot to sit, sip, and stay for a bit.

Hi Biñan peeps, sharing our go-to café here sa South City Homes, Puerto Coffee.

This is one of those places na hindi lang “na-try once.” We’ve been coming back here for a while now. May days na dine-in lang for a quick reset, may days na Lalamove na lang when things get busy but we still want a proper cup of coffee.

What keeps us coming back is their Vietnamese coffee line. Yung Bạc Xỉu nila is so good, It’s brewed using a phin filter but mas lamang yung milk kaysa coffee, and they use fresh milk instead of condensed. So instead na heavy or too strong, it’s creamy, smooth, and something you can actually enjoy kahit hindi ka super into strong coffee.

Si Dan, no questions asked, always goes for the Yuzu Orange Tonic. Bright, citrusy, and refreshing. but they have a new one in the Menu yung orange coffee. Hindi siya typical order but once you try it, you’ll get why.

Honestly, ang sarap lang na may ganitong café sa neighborhood. Yung alam mong kahit busy ka or pagod ka, may place ka na pwede mong balikan without second guessing.

PS: Puerto Coffee, ibalik niyo na yung breads please… miss na namin haha

Tried Almon Marina @ Festival Mall, lagi ko ‘to nakikita since high school, and I’ve always been curious. Years later, finally napuntahan din namin.

Dan got the beef kebab, I went for the pork ribs.

Yung kebab, mostly litid and kulang sa lasa.
Yung ribs ko naman, fried at sobrang dry, tapos nilagyan lang ng barbecue sauce on top.

Sayang, the place has potential and may nostalgia factor pa, but the food itself… meh.

Monday pa lang pero deserve na agad ng masarap. 😅

We dropped by Saigon Cà Phê in Verdant Square, Carmona and this spread was a great way to start the week.

Their Beef Pho was light and comforting served with side dish separately so you can add the bean sprouts, herbs, and lime depending on how you like your pho.

The Chả Giò came out crispy and savory. Masarap siya i-wrap with lettuce then dip sa sauce for that fresh and crunchy bite.

And of course we had to try the Cà Phê Trứng (Egg Coffee). Creamy, rich, and slightly sweet with strong coffee underneath. A really nice way to end the meal.

If your Monday needs a little food trip energy, this spot is worth checking out.
