Happy Mother's Day!

Today, we celebrate our mothers who nurtured us, guided us all our lives, and taught us what unconditional love looks like.

Regardless of gender, a mother is our sweet haven when the world turns its back on us, the supporter even when no one believes in us, and the first one to clap for us.

They shaped us into capable, compassionate individuals through love and sacrifice. We owe them everything we have and what we have become.

To our mama, mommy, mamay, inay, nanay, naynay, tita, mamala, lola, tito, papa, happy Mother's Day!

𝙉𝙀𝙒𝙎 | 968 Graduates Honored as CMC Holds 36th Solemn Investiture

A total of 968 graduates from the Bachelor of Elementary Education and Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English, Filipino, and Mathematics programs were formally conferred during the 36th Solemn Investiture of Cataingan Municipal College held Wednesday at the Cataingan Sports Complex.

The Class of 2026, carrying the theme “Values-Driven Workforce, Digitally Inclined Lifelong Learners,” also produced eight Magna Cum Laude graduates and 46 Academic Excellence awardees.

More than a celebration of academic completion, the investiture became a testimony of faith, perseverance, and redemption, as speakers shared stories of struggle and triumph before proud families and teary-eyed graduates.

Municipal Mayor Alvin C. Adoptante, in his investiture message, reminded the graduates that “Life is lived only once, but when it is lived with God at the center, that single life becomes meaningful, purposeful, and worthy.” He urged the graduates to anchor their careers in humility, service, and faith.

Therewhile, Presiding Judge of RTC Cataingan, Judge Ronnie G. Vallena, served as guest speaker. He opened with the challenge “Pagkatapos ani, asa mo padung?” and shared his own journey of failing three times before becoming a judge. “Pobre jud mi,” Vallena admitted, stressing that poverty is not a hindrance to success. He closed by answering his opening question: “Pagkatapos ani, padung mo sa what your heart wants and desires,” emphasizing that success is defined by the willingness to continue despite failure and limitations.

Dr. Rose Marie A. Arao further charged the graduates to view education as a responsibility to create positive change, noting that true success is measured not by titles, but by impact on others.

The ceremony’s most resonant moment came from Magna Cum Laude graduate Annie Tul-id, Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Filipino. She recalled standing last in her elementary graduation line with no honors, saying her surname had placed her at the end alphabetically.

“Ang batang naa sa ulhi sa linya sauna, naa na sa unahan karon,” Tul-id said, drawing applause and tears from the audience.

As the 968 graduates marched in togas and medals, the 36th Solemn Investiture affirmed CMC’s mission of producing educators who embody perseverance and purpose. Beyond the honors conferred, the rites underscored the transformation of lives, now vested as a values-driven workforce and digitally inclined lifelong learners ready to serve their communities.
