Opening of EPD Squad Weekly Interactive Meeting (SWIM)
The Eastern Police District under the leadership of PBGEN ADEN T LAGRADANTE, District Director successfully held its Squad Weekly Interactive Meeting (SWIM) at around 1:00 PM on September 24, 2025, at the EPD Conference Room. The activity gathered EPD personnel along with the dedicated life coaches from Bless Our Cops (BOC), reflecting the strong partnership between the police force and faith-based leaders in fostering discipline, integrity, and spiritual growth.
The activity was made possible through the facilitation of the District Community Affairs and Development Division (DCADD) headed by PCOL CELERINO M SACRO, JR., Chief, DCADD, together with PLTCOL VINBOY M PACAMARRA, Deputy Chief, DCADD in coordination with the Office of the District Executive Senior Police Officer (ODESPO) and the Office of the Chief District Directorial Staff (OCDDS) through PMAJ DARIUS R AGMALIW, SDS, EPD.
The program commenced with an Opening Prayer led by Pastor AI Ayao of BOC Mandaluyong City, followed by the Welcome Remarks of PMAJ LEOMAR U VICENTE, Chief Admin, DCADD, who underscored the importance of unity and shared purpose in carrying out the mission of SWIM.
The Presentation of Participants was facilitated by PMAJ CHERRYLYN J AGTARAP, Chief, DPIO, while the BOC Life Coaches from PaMaMariSan were introduced by Pastor Ardan Soriano, Assistant Coordinator of BOC Pasig City. The opening segment was further highlighted by the Special Message of Pastora Maria Christina Mitas Ramos, Coordinator, BOC, Pasig City and the inspirational words of PCOL LEONARD L LUNA, Deputy District Director for Administration, EPD, who emphasized the value of faith, integrity, and compassion in the performance of duty.
The first part concluded with a Closing Prayer led by Pastor Nonoy of BOC, and was followed by a photo opportunity as a remembrance of the day’s activity.
Part II focused on the Orientation on the Goals, Mission, and Guidelines of SWIM, presented by PEMS Dennis V Baltazar, DESPO of EPD, which provided valuable insights to guide the participants as they proceeded with the SWIM Proper.
The meeting concluded with renewed inspiration and a stronger sense of purpose. Through this activity, the Eastern Police District reaffirms its commitment to the holistic development of its personnel, not only in their professional duties but also in nurturing their moral and spiritual foundation, ensuring that public service is always carried out with discipline, compassion, and faith.
Moving forward, the EPD SWIM will be conducted weekly, every Wednesday at 4:00 PM via Zoom, allowing for consistency, accessibility, and continuous engagement of all participants.
