It is moving Northwestward at 10 km/h. Southwest Monsoon affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

WEATHER UPDATE I As of 2:00 PM today, 20 September 2025, Typhoon "NANDO" {international name "RAGASA"} is still being monitored INSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Meanwhile, Low Pressure Area 09d (formerly "MIRASOL") is still being monitored OUTSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and has weakened from a tropical depression and is "UNLIKELY" to redevelop into a tropical depression in the next 24 hours.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

WEATHER UPDATE I ay "biglaang lumakas" at naging bagyo, ngunit wala pang nakataas na babala ng bagyo hanggang nitong Sabado ng umaga base sa 11 AM advisory ng PAGASA.

Ayon sa PAGASA:
"Patuloy na lalakas si Nando habang nasa ibabaw ng Philippine Sea. Maaaring umabot ito sa kategoryang super typhoon pagsapit ng Lunes bago ang paglapit nito sa Batanes-Babuyan Islands."

Dagdag pa ng PAGASA:
"Ang Signal No. 1 ay itataas sa Hilagang Luzon at sa silangang bahagi ng Gitnang Luzon ngayong hapon, at ang pinakamataas na Signal na posibleng itaas sa kabuuan ng pagdaan nito ay Signal No. 5."
