^^, Hey, we're back, after a while. As only at home, besides work, grinding games has been my thing to do. This is my 6th Castlevania game finished. One of three DS games back in mid-late 2000s. 14 hours of playthrough, with the same character level as the previous Order of Ecclesia.
The game is very fun, having 2 characters at the same time. Jonathan Morris, a more traditional hero similar to the Belmonts. And Charlotte Aulin, a support spellcaster, with powerful Sanctuary. Their coop attack deals huge damage. Portrait of Ruin did the most epic final boss fight; having Dracula and Death, making hell fires and dark infernos more difficult to dodge and timing. Actually the Grim Reaper is rather more annoying than the menacing 1st encounter with him. Dracula's true form is kinda easy on one thing and kinda very hard on another.
Order of Ecclesia for me, is still better, for story, progression, character itself (Shanoa is badass), with more unique system, and of course, the difficulty accuracy. Portrait of Ruin's portrait portals to other places is unique to Castlevania. I loved this game anyway.
