for today’s VidJoes, we went on a summer vacation to Zambales, featuring two popular spots: Mapanuepe Lake in San Marcelino and Samba Bluewater Resort in Subic Bay Freeport Zone 🌊☀️

Our trip started with a visit to Mapanuepe Lake, a well-known destination formed after Mt. Pinatubo’s eruption. It’s often called the “New Zealand of Zambales” because of its wide landscape and scenic views. We experienced going there without a guide, which made navigation a bit challenging—so it’s recommended to coordinate with local guides for easier access.

After that, we headed to Samba Bluewater Resort located in Subic. This resort is known for its beachfront setting and relaxing atmosphere, making it a convenient destination for travelers coming from Metro Manila.

📍 HOW TO GET THERE
From Manila, you can take NLEX–SCTEX and exit towards Subic Bay Freeport Zone. The resort is accessible by private vehicle and follows standard Subic entry guidelines.

If you’re planning a quick getaway from Metro Manila, Tagaytay remains one of the most accessible destinations because of its cool weather, scenic views, and food spots.

📍 HOW TO GET THERE
Pine Suites Tagaytay is accessible via Aguinaldo Highway. You can go by private car or commute via bus routes going to Tagaytay, then take a short ride going to the property.
