: Beanstro Coffee (Binondo, Manila).

This cafe is quite hidden in its location and on the main streets of Binondo but very popular to youth and students - Maybe because of its catchy vibe and indoor colors. I also like that their aircon is full blast - Perfect stopover from the heat outside and tiresome exploration of Binondo. Finding a table inside their cafe depends on time and crowd that is visiting them. They have quite a number of coffee drinks selection as well as snack selection that are more of baker's confectionery. Their best-seller Mango Sticky Rice is sweet and tasty but not memorable enough to crave for a second serving. I recommend Beanondo Cacao - cacao, sea salt cream and espresso as one of the drinks to try for first-timers to Beanstro Coffee.

: Bakasyunan Inn Laoag (Laoag, Ilocos Norte).

The main strength of this hotel accommodation in Laoag is its location right at the heart of the city. It is in downtown of Laoag making it near to all commercial establishments like grocery, banks, restaurants, markets and shops. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Rooms offered via Agoda is affordable and cheap for budget traveler. However, I do not highly recommend this accommodation in Laoag due to some of its facilities and amenities were really turned off for first time occupants like me. First, rooms has no wi-fi access and only in lobby downstairs. Second, rooms have small cockroaches which is why it is not advisable to leave food in your room especially those open and no covers. Third, bathrooms has a smell even it is cleaned. Fourth, aircon is weak on the solo room I stayed for 3 nights. Fifth, stairs going up and down to the rooms are not family-friendly especially those travelling with children and elderly. And lastly, TVs were not working so no entertainment while staying here. This accommodation is recommended if you're a tight budget traveler to Ilocos Norte as you can get as low as PHP700 per night in this hotel. But if you have enough budget and/or picky in hotel rooms, go find somewhere else.

: C&E Pizza Pasta (Laoag, Ilocos Norte).

Pizza and pasta are really their main staple food that must be try for 1st timer like me. I truly enjoy their 4 flavor pizza so I can taste all of their pizza offering. Their spaghetti pasta is chessy and delicious. The prices are affordable. Staffs were warmth and friendly. This local pizza and pasta restaurant in Laoag is refreshing to try among the sea of fast-food restaurants in the city. This restaurant is recommended.

: Paoay Church.

Paoay Church is officially known as Saint Augustine Church is located in Paoay municipality of Ilocos Norte province. The church was built in 1694 under the Augustinian Order and completed in 1710. Paoay Church distinctive architecture was its enormous buttresses on the sides and back of the building at about 1.67 metres thick. It was declared as a National Cultural Treasure of the Philippine government in 1973 and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993.

: Crisologo Museum.

Crisologo Museum is a memorabilia site in Vigan not just for a historical trip but also for its preserved architectural value as a former mansion of Crisologo Clan. The museum is an anscestral home of former Ilocos Sur 1st district congressman, Floro S. Crisologo and to whom the museum is dedicated to and to which his family has preserved throughout the years. The museum features the family’s memorabilia and private collection of religious figures as well as some permanent exhibits that have to do with Northern Luzon’s history, ethnography, archeology, and natural history. One of the highlights of the museum is Crisologo's 1970 unsolved assassination. The museum also sheds light on Crisologo's contribution to the society and province of Ilocos Sur as a congressman.
